[ As is typical of Bell helmets, this is a really good brain crate for road biking. It's light, fits and breathes well, even on the hottest of days, while being fully adjustable to fit with or without a skull cap. About the only thing that it falls short on is the straps are shorter than I 'd like, such that I only have about an inch of strap beyond the buckle and would prefer to see another 1- 2 inches for better adjustability. This seems to be Bell's new norm, after many years where their straps tended to be too long.

The helmet is great, and fits larger heads. However, the picture is not accurate. I received a yellow helmet with black writing, not the green with blue writing shown in the picture. REI's website has the correct picture for the matte lime color.

The mips system is there it does n't change the feeling neither rhe fit. The headlamp attachment is easy to use and secure. The back attachment is not as easily adjustable as some other brand, but he it's no big deal.

This is the slimmest, lightest helmet all while providing the best protection out there. The weight makes hiking to exit points almost feel like I forgot to bring a helmet at times, while longer delay times off exit don ’ t rattle the neck on opening. A helmet is for protecting your head and not for saving weight!! Great style, I dont usually wear black but this thing pulls together any outfit you have. I have n't tried hot summer climbing with it yet, but I 'll wear it over any super lightweight helmet. I took a 50+ footer, upside down, back slamming whipper in the Valley last season and vowed to always wear a MIPS helmet in case that ever happens again.
