It appears that you would get a better view from this helmet. Based on other Easton helmets I ’ ve worn, this one fits true to size and comfortably on my head. The padding is thick, but not too thick, which is perfect for comfort. Having fewer bars on the helmet makes it easier to see through. The helmet feels sturdy, as it will protect against injury. Visibility is improved and makes hitting easier. Overall, the Easton Ghost Vision Helmet feels and fits great! It gives me confidence that it will protect me, but still allow me to see better than traditional helmets. While this is true, picking up the helmet feels heavier, but I would definitely trade the weight for the improvement in safety and visibility.

First just a huge fan of Mammoth stuff. Great gear, high quality and has a good look to it. This is a good helmet for climbing, biking, and honestly if you are n't worried about fashion on the jobsite can get away with it on some low key sites. The chin strap gets you points with the safety crew. But note it is not TYPE 2, so no help on that. Just type 1 and EN 12492. All good and Mammoth keep making cool stuff!

My 9 yr old daughter wears glasses and she has struggled with the ability to wear her glasses under her helmet. She can wear them with this helmet. The wide field of view is a plus as well as the Velcro ear pads. The Velcro ear pads allowed us to move them( or better position them) to make room for her frames coming around her ears. I highly recommend if you have a player that wears corrective glasses( or probably even sunglasses)

I guess my 12 year old has a head that has outgrown youth size helmets. We went to the store and found a Rawlings Senior( Adult) Velo Baseball Batting Helmet to try on. It fit, but the store did n't have the color scheme he wanted. Ordered it online without issue. The reason I 'm not giving it 5 stars was the shipping. It shipped via FedEx. It seems everytime we get anything that ships through FedEx, we get an expected delivery date. I can see the item arrive in my city, get put on a truck for delivery, and still have it show as `` on time. '' But almost always, FedEx updates that the item has been delayed for `` Exception. '' What does that even mean. I checked the status for the next 2 or 3 days before it finally went out for delivery and arrived. Is this Dick's fault? YES! Use another carrier besides FedEx and I 'll be a more satisfied customer. Otherwise, once the helmet arrived, it fit well, looks great, and my son is super happy with it and is n't getting his melon squeezed anymore.
