I have a hiking/trekking shoe problem( name the brand, I might have 2 pair), and if I had to pick only ONE, to wear every day.. doing every thing.. for eternity... it's got to be this one. Nothing thicker socks/insoles ca n't fix of course if it pleases you. Closest thing to a barefoot shoe that I 've put on and liked. They call this a barefoot and I wo n't put up a fight, but they seem pretty tall( FOR a bf shoe). In any case, it's close, and I do love the grounded feel, but only because the tread is so supportive. Ya know how most shoes are either very technical, or, `` go straight! '' etc etc? These, you 're just kind of, surfing B) What's the Catch?... 1) I 'm aware of some longevity concerns w/ tread, but I 'd imagine the give- or- take goes to the shoe FTW- anything reasonable would be worth it b/c the shoe is that great. 2) I 'd be lying if I was n't a bit concerned about the construction of the eyelets- they give the impression that too many tough yanks will make them angry. Worst case, you can craft some metal loops into the shoes, and gives you a reason to visit w/ your local tailor and share stories:)

This will be very helpful. My foot is 10 inches exactly and this shoe in an 8 1/2 fits it absolutely perfect. I don ’ t have a really narrow foot but it ’s not very wide that you ’ ll have to figure out. The shoe is great pretty waterproof but don ’ t try to keep it submerged, definitely doesn ’ t feel like a barefoot shoe. You do have some soul. It is very thin. I would say extremely light.

Shoes are really attractive and can be worn for casual wear as well as rock scrambling and hiking. Sole was very rigid but became flexible after 2 or 3 climbs. They wrap around you foot like a glove so you feel really secure in them. So far I have not found a surface they slip on. They are very grippy and the sole wraps around to the sides for extra grip and toughness. The toe is square so doesn ’ t squish your feet and you can spread your toes. The outers are very tough and tend to shed dirt. Definitely my favorite minimalist shoe to date. I highly recommend them.

After reading so many great reviews on the Adizero SL2, I decided to try them out. It took a few runs to break in the foam, but the Lightstrike Pro foam is responsive and provides some nice pop. Some reviews recommended going up a half size, but a larger size wasn ’ t available( I wear a US size 13). While the length and width were great, the upper initially felt a little snug. However, they became more comfortable after wearing them for a few minutes before the run. The heel isn ’ t as unstable for me as some reviews have mentioned, especially compared to other shoes I ’ ve worn( e. g. Endorphin Speed). I ’ ve run up to 5K on these shoes and I would be comfortable running a 10k in them. I haven ’ t had any rubbing, hot spots, or blisters, but I have had challenges with lockdown on the right shoe. Perhaps a runner ’s loop will correct this. I am rotating these shoes with the Supernova Rise 2( which I love), but they provide a different running experience. I only have 20 miles on the SL2s, but they have been a really good shoe so far.

This is the ideal shoe for heavier runners because they are so well built. The midsole is firm and reactive. Typically, I find running shoes to be too soft in the soles including the Endorphin Speeds and Pros. If you want a firm, responsive, and stable shoe that will last, the Shift is the answer. I have not ran much in the Shift 3 yet, but first impressions indicate that it has only improved on the Shift 2. The fit is exactly the same as the Shift 2, as well. I put 350+ miles on my Endorphin Shift 2s including my first two marathons. My body weight started at 240 lbs and has since dropped to 215. The shoes still have a lot of miles left in them and plenty of support remaining. The upper is in perfect shape and there's still rubber on the soles. The Saucony Endorphin Shift is simply the most durable and supportive shoe I have ever owned.

As owning the Endorphin Pro 3 and loving everything about that shoe, I was n't sure what to expect from the Shift 3. But knowing I was in need of a max cushioned daily trainer, I decided to roll the dice and take the dice on the Shift 3. I 'm glad I did. The ride is smooth, responsive, and lighter on foot than what the actual weight of the shoe indicates on the specs. I 've used the shoe on easy runs, recovery runs, medium distance runs, and on occasion, tempo runs. The SPEEDROLL Technology is very evident and provides and very easy and comfortable transition. Looking forward to putting many more miles on them this winter and for the time being they are a perfect counterpart to my race day Pro 3s.

Great everyday shoe. Love the support they provide to my worn out arches. I ’ m down to sub- 7: 00 miles thanks to these shoes! I was worried about the white soles getting dirty, but they wipe clean with just a wet paper towel. The bright blue fabric stains easier so I recommend some waterproofing or protectant if you want to keep them looking amazing forever.

Giant improvement over the Shift 2, softer foam and feel underfoot, speed roll makes this shoe seem faster than something with this much stack typically would. Works both for slow and fast days and the update on the upper is tremendously more comfortable as well. My favorite Saucony shoe yet.
