I really like these shoes. I had the previous edition, and those were my favorite shoe maybe ever. Build quality, solid, even better than the 4s. Will resist water to a point, but it ’s not meant to be a rain boot. Comfortable, extremely so during the first 200 miles. Love the grip of the soles, especially in more treacherous conditions. Would recommend 100%.

I needed some hiking shoes to hike North Cascades National Park in Seattle. Never had hiking shoes before, but hated that they looked so clunky. I saw that trail running shoes work well for hikes as well and allow your feet to stay flexible. I saw these for sale and gave it a try. Wow. It genuinely provided so much support for hiking and light jogging. I hiked through brush, rocks, gravel, tree roots, grass, and other terrains. I did n't slip a single time and the shoes really cushioned each step. Safe to say, I would have been doomed with regular running shoes. After hiking a few days, the shoes still looked new! They were a bit dusty from the trail itself, though. Treads on the bottom looked new, did n't see any scratches or gouges, laces were not frayed. I got the Gore- Tex variant, so at the end of the hike, I walked into the shallow end of a lake and wiped them off, no water got in. I half- sized up. My regular shoe size is a 9, but I went 9. 5 because I wore thicker socks and appreciate the toe room during hiking as I do n't want my toes banging the front of the shoe. Feet also swell when hiking. All in all, I hiked around 20 miles on this trip as well as walking around city areas, so probably closer to 30 miles. I had no issues whatsoever and would recommend them. If Nike wants to sponsor me for this review, I 'm all ears because they 've won me over with these purposeful shoes.

These shoes are so comfortable it's ridiculous. The fact that they are GORE- TEX and waterproof is even better. I am outside a lot during my work days and when is raining my feet starting dry it's great. I 'll be buying more NIKE TRAIL shoes soon!

The design is sporty and sleek. Like all Pegasus models, it ’s a consistent reliable design that proves to stay up to date with current trends. What did you think about the fabric? The materials on the shoe are by far the best aspect of it. Immediately put them to the test with a 5k run under the rain. The shoe had no issues during the run and my feet stayed dry thanks to the Gore Tex technology. The material is reinforced in areas of high wear which promotes longevity. What did you like most? What would you change? Overall what I liked the most is that the shoe is a great all around performer. Materials are great for outdoor running, the traction grips well and it has a strong rubber that ensures durability. Further, the midsole and the cushion technology make it a comfortable ride whether it ’s for a walk or an outdoor run. Lastly, the shoe can be used casually due to its design and I don ’ t have to worry about any discomfort. The only thing I would change about the shoe are the laces, they run a bit short and I ’ d prefer them to be a little thicker to battle the outdoors.

Water droplets just roll off the shoe right away after I stepped into a water puddle, which is perfect for me caused I ran on trails a lot. The shoe fits a bit snug right out of the box, but once you wear them in, they fit one to one. I would recommend go true to size for these!

If you have a slightly wide foot, do not get the regular size, it will destroy you. I 've worn these 5 times and walked a full 18 each time. I thought they would break in, but after 5 rounds, I ca n't wear them anymore. If you play really flat courses you might be fine, but if youre walking up and downhill a lot make sure to get the wide version. These have everything you 'll look for in a good rain boot, warm, very waterproof, and with the right size and width they would be very comfortable. I hope this review helps someone out there because I wish I had a heads up!

[ I am a ghost 16 GTX convert! I run for fun and training for small 5K ’s. My wife has always loved running in Brooks shoes but I am new to Brooks! This shoe feels wider in the toe box than a Nike zoom pegasus. It has less cushion than a hoku style shoe, but I honestly love the cushion in this shoe. I notice the comfortable feel the most while running uphill or going up stairs. Even if you aren ’ t a major runner, the style and look of this shoe is perfect! You will want to wear this shoe to work, around town, out to dinner! I feel like this show also supports my ankles well. It has the support in all the right places.

[ The Ghost 16 gtx is one of the best pair of running shoes I 've ever owned. Super comfortable and nicely snug. They are extremely light and help me go the distance when running without having my feet feel ultra tired. I love that they are nitrogen filled and help with heel support and overall impact especially on rougher terrain. The design looks super stylish with black and gray and looks like very solid shoes. I got multiple compliments from friends and neighbors. The fabric is soft to the touch. The shoe laces are good length and tie/hold easily. Overall an excellent pair of shoes all around, fits true to size as I 'm a size 9 and do n't wear our quickly. Should last a few running seasons.

[ This could be Brooks best road shoe. They feel great and look sharp. I ’ m not sure if they are called ghost because of the weight, but when I ’ m wearing these shoes I feel like I ’ m floating. They are light and flexible. I also love the monochromatic palate. I feel like they run a half size small. I took out the insole and use zero cushion socks which makes the fit much better. Overall these are wonderful shoes that seem to handle all the steps I throw at it. I am very happy I have them.
