I bought these boots last year for work. A couple of months ago I was at a customers house and stepped on a live wire for an old well pump. The wire was cut and sticking out of the ground an inch. Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

I worked commercial construction and these have held up to walking and climbing up and down all day. Will wash them down and then apply mink oil paste to the leather. I have been wearing this make Georgia boot since I was a little, I am 22 now, I work in the labor industry as a welder. This is the best most comfortable and very hardy boot. They are high quality leather, although they are comfortable out of the box, they do get more and more comfortable as you wear them. I am on my feet all day everyday so I put some Dr. Scholl ’s insoles in them to make them that much better.( I also have flat feet) One pair last me about 3- 4 years. And that is wearing them literally almost 365 days a year. As a welder I tend to not like laces and these boots are perfect for a welder except if you are needed steel toe. Overall, I owe Georgia boot this review and I am very happy to leave a great review. I ’ ve put these boots through hell, and they withstand anything you throw at them. They have been on my feet for 16+ years! Do yourself a favor and try them out!

I bought this boot last month. Very high quality leather. A little stiff but is breaking in nicely. I have a small farm with wet conditions so this boot is perfect. Very comfortable. I mainly bought this boot because it can be resoled and the reviews on Georgia boot were very positive. This is the first time I have bought Georgia boot. I have usually bought Ariat, Wolverine, Red Wings and Tony Lama. I am tired of buying good boots only to find out they are trash after the soles are worn off or the glue separating. These boots( Georgia Giant Wellingtons) can be resoled by a cobbler and should last a lifetime with proper care. After throwing away two pair of RedWing Boots because the soles are separating because they are glued and can not be resoled, I am now a Georgia Boot customer.

I wore a different Georgia boot for 3- 4 years before buying this one. My other one was not waterproof. It started falling apart after using it on my dirt farm. With this one I can walk in the creeks and all over. It is super comfortable, waterproof, light, and fits great! It handles cow manure, creeks, woods, rocks, dirt, etc.-- Just all- around great! In addition, the bottom grip is nice. I do n't have any problems walking or shoveling, and the inside cushion makes you want to wear it for all occasions. The only thing you might have to do is replace the cushion every now and then; with around 230 lbs. the cushion performs well, but takes a toll. For winter, I recommend some thick, cushioned, wool socks. Wool socks and boot make it a winning combination that ca n't be beat by any other. Buy it!

I think I may have ordered a half size too small, the toes on my right foot feel a little crowded. It could also be that I am used to square toe boots, but all around they seem like a solid set of boots. The tread is good, the stitching seems tough, and the zipper on the back is a nice touch for making the boots easier to get on and off. It 'll be interesting to see how that holds up to flexing though. So far so good!

I made the mistake of getting a half size bigger since my normal size is always a little tight with the thicker socks in the winter so theyre definitely too loose on my feet. Through a previous job I purchased the `` Hammer '' style boots and loved them enough that now that it's my own money, I would n't spend it on anything but these boots! After a 14 hour day on my feet I was in no hurry to get them off when I got home. They are waterproof and best of all they are cool during the hot summers of south Louisiana because of their breathability properties. I got these for shoveling snow, before/after skiing, walking dogs, and other winter use. They 've been very comfortable and provide good grip. Warmth seems good too, but I have n't spent hours outside in them. I wore them as I loaded/unloaded skis and luggage in- 30F temperatures, and my feet stayed warm for those 10- 15 minutes.
