It ’s a bit of work to switch the legs back and forth from the baseball to softball ones so you pretty need to do one or the other in one session. My daughter feels like the low profile legs give her pretty realistic look at how pitches come at her on the games which is a huge plus compared to having hit her off the baseball machines. He told me it was the most effective machine he has ever used so I bought one for my sons. It is amazing how it throws change ups with a push of a button on a remote just like your car. [ This is a great tool for hand eye coordination. I coupled it with the skilz overload strength trainer and I could not be happier. My 2 teenage sons and I all use it and it has really helped with their batting this year. My 7 yr old really wants to use it but they come in way to fast for him at this point. The balls are quite small which coupled with the thin bat makes for a great hand eye coordination trainer.

I just got this setup and could n't be happier with it. Very consistent with the Jugs brand lite flight balls, not so much with the less expensive brands. I was paying$ 50 for 30 minutes so this will be paid off with 11 sessions.

Everything about this machine is 5 star. So good for teaching kids to hit live pitching. So much fun for backyard baseball. I am not sure who loves it more, the dad's or the kids. Also, jugs is such a top notch company. All of their products are over built in terms of quality. Their spare parts are cheap and easy to find when something breaks. I absolutely would n't but a machine from another brand. My one piece of advice is that the Jugs brand balls wear out quickly, are very expensive, and soak up water. We use Athletic brand foam balls and they work perfectly without the problems.

This machine has been perfect for my 9u son. Can throw slower pitches and ramp up for the fast balls. Even worked well in windy conditions. I highly recommend having a batting cage still, he was launching them into neighboring backyards. Good thing is, light flute balls won ’ t cause any damage.

Bought this for my 12 year old son after he out grew his other one. This one is more heavy duty compared to the previous one. He likes how it is adjustable allowing you to change the angle the ball comes back to you.

With two baseball players in our home, this pitch back was purchased to get two baseball players out of our home.... and in to the backyard. The assembly was very easy, putting the unit quickly in play. The adjustable deflection angles provides a great array of practice positions for one or two players. The target area is very large and provides true bounces. The only issue we 've experienced is that a hard toss right at the seam can impact the horizontal center pole. The hinge is easy to adjust and the pins wo n't be lost. It folded to a reasonable size that will allow for easy storage during the winter offseason.

This machine is for real. A coach friend of mine in California saw it at a tournament last summer and called me about it. He told me, `` You have got to get this machine for your travel team. '' I have been using it the last two weeks with my girls. It is just like hitting in a game. I push the button on the remote and it throws a perfect changeup. I push the button again and it throws a fastball/riser with no delay between pitches. The machine gives nothing away to alert the hitter which pitch is coming. These small, soft, balls are perfect for pregame warmups to get your eye and swing tuned. Great for soft toss in the outfield. Balls will pick up spin so you can judge by their flights as to how purely you hit them. The bucket they come in is nice, but I transferred them into a drawstring bag that I can toss into my gear bag/backpack.
