Largest fish it's had on was only about 3 pounds so far, so we 'll have to see if it can hold up to a monster. I had an old aluminum canoe that had been a great fishing canoe, but at 86 pounds I could no longer handle it. The Pelican Catch Classic 100 weighs only 58 pounds and slides easily on and off my truck. Plus, I 've already caught a lot of fish. I use a seat cushion that adds about 3 inches to the chair of the kayak and puts me up a bit higher. The kayak is great for about 2- 2. 5 hours of fishing. I have n't had it out in much wind yet, but it handles pretty well.

Rubber netting doesn ’ t allow hooks to get buried in it like nylon. It extends to get those fish all the way at the back of the boat. It floats, so even if it falls in the water, you can get it back. I would not try that with a fish in the net though. My only complaint was shipping... way too long with UPS ground. USPS priority would have likely been the same price and arrived 3- 4 days sooner.

I lost one like this and I am very happy with my new one. If you use for your personal workout you do n't have keep track of reps in you head, depending on the exercise of course. As an old wrestling coach it is far better to use this when you drill and want to keep track of reps in a drill than for time.
