Example is the back of a Honda Odyssey…yes, I ’ m a dad with kids and dogs and one day I ’ ll have a rad car again, but until then I ’ ll settle on having a rad Yeti. But reality is, this fits perfectly behind the third row in the trunk space. Adds a nice spot for the kid to sit when the trunk is open as well. It is heavy on its own, must have a minimum of 3 years dad strength to lift this thing when full. Kids love it, it ’s a sticker magnet for them( and me). [ My husband and I love this cooler. I ’ ve added some photos to show off a few features. I love the latch to keep the lid closed. That way when we ’ re headed down the road we never have to worry about it toppling over and coming open or the wind pulling the lid open in the back of the truck. I also really like the handles. They have straps so they can extend out and up to give you more flexibility in how you hold it. It also makes it easy to carry on my own with my short arms. It of course has wheels to roll on and they are nice and large so it glides smoothly and easily. The handle extends pretty high. Up to around my chest. So I never have to lean down to roll it along. The inside is quite large both vertically and horizontally so that I can put a variety of different sizes and shaped items in. Watermelon…no problem. Six packs…no problem. Tons of stuff! And it stays so cold for so long. Plus the drain plug has a no lose cap and it ’s position much better than previous coolers I ’ ve owned. It ’s down at the bottom of the cooler instead of above the floor of the cooler slightly, so all of the liquid drains. We love this cooler so much that we gave away the one we had before this. I highly recommend it.

I bought this for my father. He absolutely loves it. He loves the color the soft carrying strap and how long it holds ice while fishing in the sun. The size was perfect for him for kayak and Colorado pontoon fishing and will do great in the fall in his side by side deer hunting.

I 've had a lot of cheap coolers over the years, mostly with and without wheels as well as some crappy backpack coolers. I purchased this Icemule cooler because I needed something more durable, portable( especially for taking to the beach) and that would keep my food and drinks colder on hot days. I like that I can put this on my back and keep my hands free to carry chairs and other items. I also do n't have to worry about trying to drag it through the sand or carrying it in front of me, both of which are not fun! The ice retention is great. It does n't leak. It's easy to carry. [ After a week's trip to northern Michigan we loved our Dometic CFX3. We biked the Leelanau Trail from Traverse City and the Heritage Trail through the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes National Lakeshore. It is beautiful country, and we had great meals while camping. Everything was kept cool and safe with no hunting for ice. We only ate Mexican at a Roadhouse one time during the week. We only wish we had Dometic years ago.

[ After working with my 45L cooler and trying different ice configurations, I finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase a Dometic fridge. Very happy I did... no more melted ice and we get to use the full space vs. 2/3 of it filled with ice. I went with Dometic based on their brand reputation and most importantly the power draw. I can run this off of a Goal Zero Yeti 1000 for 4 days. Average draw is about 10w/hour, far less than most others out there which gives us plenty of run time!
