It's a great backpack, I upgraded from a smaller North Face backpack because it would n't fit my 16 inch MacBook Pro and my 13 inch iPad Pro. I 've been using this Surge backpack since 2019 and it has been great! I 've heard my family's thoughts on the newer model of the same backpack and they are not as impressed. The straps are more prone to breaking and the seams have started tearing pretty early in the life of their backpack. This being said, my older model has been so great! It's gone through years of hauling notebooks, folders, textbooks, water bottles, and clothes for practice after school. One of the shoulder straps did begin to tear last year( 2024) slightly but a quick stitch- job has got it back to working order. I would definitely buy a North Face backpack again!

I have this as a backpack and I love it. I am still in high school and I honestly could n't want a better bag. In my opinion it is a little small for all the stuff I had but not too bad. I love the look of it, the skinny cute bag is so nice and i love the light blue on gray. The side pockets are a bit small for all water bottles but most of the time i do n't have a hard time pushing my bottles in. The wire on the side though makes it hard sometimes but u just have to make sure you press down and not out.

I bought this Backpack in February of 2021 and it is my favorite bag. Since I received it, I have used it everyday and never looked back. Being a graphic designer and partial tech person at my work I have a lot of random things that are in my bag at all times. It fits my 13 inch mac book and my 13 inch ipad pro in the back pouch. I also have a bag of 50 pens as well as a pouch with numerous cables all in the big pocket. The front top pocket holds 2 portable hard drives with their necessary cables as well as a case for SD cards and flash drives. The big pocket on the front holds my computer charger and other misc items. Needless to say, it holds everything I need and probably more. The side pockets wo n't hold your wide mouth hydroflask but will your skinner water bottles. Overall if you are baseball fan and want to have a backpack that will last, Do n't hesitate! Just buy it!

My 9 year old son loves it. I got him the black bag with red letters and he was super excited that they match his Jordan 4 Breds. It also has a decent barrier between the compartments. He put a full bottle of water in the smaller compartment and it opened somehow and it got everywhere. But it barely let any water from the smaller to bigger part. He had his brand new school binder in there and it did n't get a drop on it. I emptied the bags placed it in front of a fan, and it was dry within an hour. Overall, I 'm pleased with the quality and price. My son loves it and his friends all want one.
