This is my third purchase and installation of a YakGear anchor trolley kit. I loved it on my first two kayaks and had to have it for my new Pelican Catch 100 also purchased from Dick ’s. I often fish areas where winds and/or currents carry me away from a hot spot and force me to quit fishing in order to paddle back to where the fish are. The trolley allows me to stay put and to be pointed in the right direction at the same time. Installation was easy thanks to multiple how- to videos on the internet. Only tools required are a drill and a Phillips screwdriver or rivet gun. Great product at a good price.

Plus install is easier now that you have a something to grip onto from the inside! Rope is plenty long and strong for any Yak/Canoe. Great way to get cordelettes custom built or even for use as a static support line. Hold the rope tight, cut with a sharp knife under tension and do n't stab yourself once it goes through. Burn the ends with a standard lighter and you 're good. This is an easy rope to work with, it ties knots well and is plenty flexible to dress even the more complex multi- strand BHKs.
