I bought factory 2nds from a buddy and I could n't tell you the difference between those and the 1st. A little cleaning and conditioning and it looked brand spanking new. I got these in a 7D. For some odd reason, they fit very similar to my pair of Beckmans which are a 7. 5D. Both are a touch loose at the toes. Maybe I 'm a 6. 5 in Redwings. No problem though, I threw in a pair of insoles for my Iron Rangers and they fit like a glove now. If you have a store near you, I highly suggest going in person to get sized. The leather is of fantastic quality. Great overall look and feel. I highly recommend this iconic boot! My next purchase are the Roughnecks.

I have owned these boots for over 1- 1/2 years now with no issues. I oil them every quarter to help with the wear and tear and to keep them soft. I keep them on a boot dryer at night to keep them dry. I work in the Dairy industry and walk through manure and chemicals, it is a very wet environment. I have gone through Red Wings and other carhartt boots that only last 6- 8 months. In short, thee boots are worth every penny. Wish I could get a pair with more insulation though.

I became interested in this style of boot due to me having bad/weak ankles. considering that im very active, i needed the support. i first tried the justin and after the second time of wearing them, quickly realized they were too stiff and too heavy and went to my local supply and tried on the georgia. i 've gone through three pair of which were each resouled atleast once and now about to pull the trigger on a fourth. with each pair, once broken in, feel like a pair of house slippers. as mentioned by others, the lether on the last two pair do seem to be a bit harder than previous. overall, i 'll have to give them a two thumbs up.

Solid boot. I work in natural gas and am outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. Snow in Idaho and rain over in Oregon and Washington They 've been great for driving, job site and walking around, and the waterproofing is top notch. I 've ridden the Harley a couple times with them in and the met guard is no good for that, protects your foot too much to have good connection with the shifter, but for work, these are great.

Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

I have no intention of using these boots for riding or cleaning stalls. I will use them for Winter Walk and forays in the forests and beaches shooting( photography) wildlife. I took them out for our first snowfall walk. They are comfortable and warn. It was 20 degrees and I wore only a dress weight alpaca sock. My feet were never cold. There was plenty room for me to wear a heavier weight sock. I did encounter some wet spots along the marsh and my feet were totally dry. I will note that these boots do not have lug soles, so they were slick walking up snow covered steep slopes. This is not a knock on these boots for me. I have Yaktrax Diamond grips and Kahtoola Micro Spikes- both fit over these beefier boot. I love the ease of slipping into with the optional pull tabs( which I didn ’ t need to use.). The last pair of “ rubber boots ” I owned were snug to pull on. The liner is great. I ’ m sure these will be what the doctor ordered for my Winter Adventures. I wear 10. 5 Wide typically. The 11 and Medium width were perfect.

I 've had this boot for a little less than a year and they have changed my daily life. These boots are of the upmost comfort and quality, hands down my favorite pair to throw on and let life take me to where I need to go. At first I was skeptical of such a modern take on the classic square toe, I have never owned a pair of derby boots or chelseas before this and they seriously go on the foot like a breeze. I work on my feet all day and never once did I experience blisters or cramps or any such ailment. The leather is quality and solid, something only Durango can provide. Their scuffed and mud crusted and yet they still have that classic leather smell like they just came out of the box. Love these boots, I went true to size though they are a bit more narrow than I 'm used to. I 've been buying these boots to wear for my landscaping business for as long as I can remember.( over 15 years?) They are comfortable after a day of brake in. I apply one coat of weather seal when I buy them. I wear them over 12 hours a day and they last about 6 to 8 months. I like that they are n't steel toes, and that the tread on the sole does n't disturb the soil very much, but has good traction. I like to buy two at a time so I can alternate wearing them. They ’ re tall, almost up to my knee, and fit snug around my leg( though not “ tight ”) so as not to have huge gaps where snow can get in. I 've become a fan of slip- on boots, but the quality of my `` go- to '' brand has declined. I found these on the Internet, read the reviews and ordered them. I wear an 8. 5 W, and out of the box my widest foot was a tad tight. However, the boot stretched pretty quickly and within a day they were perfect. I took the dog for a hike the day I got them, and the boots did n't need any break- in time- perfect out of the box! They are also 100% waterproof, as advertised. Really nice boot, great craftsmanship and high quality!
