This is a great solo use cooler for me. It fits a need when it ’s just me( fitting a deli sandwich, sides, snacks, and a few drinks). I will use this for work meals, fishing, picnic for 1- 2, taking to the ballpark, long drives, etc. It ’s a little bigger inside than the flip 8 and the hard cooler option allows use as a table or seat. Tie down slots are integrated into the comfortable new small haul handle and includes a rubber grip for wet hands and good grip when full, though I like the optional double duty strap you can buy for hands free use. Fits more than it looks like it should. Great compliment to my roadie 15 and tundra 35. Size may not be for everyone but then, neither is the tundra 160. For those needing to fit this size and use need, it might be perfect.

[ Core soft cooler kept our drinks and sandwiches ice cold all day. Totally impressed with how well it cools. It is waterproof and durable. They had bottle opener at the side. It is easy to carry for picnic.
5
resparza5280
[ I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this product, the outside is a semi hard case it has one pocket in front and on the side there is a bottle opener attached, it comes with a long strap for carrying. The zipper is a little bit hard to open at first but once I put on the lubricant that came with it it ’s a lot easier to open. I like that the lid is magnetic incase you accidentally leave the lid unzipped at least the magnet will keep the cooler closed. I put ice in this cooler at 8am and a whole 24 hours later the ice was a little melted but there was still plenty of ice left! I will definitely be using this cooler all summer long it ’s great and the price point is even better!
5
kfig03
[ This cooler has it all! I can ’ t find one flaw with the design. I did think I was getting a backpack cooler based on the photo, but this is a shoulder strap cooler which works great! Pros:- waterproof zipper: I put water in this thing, shook it all around, laid it on its side and upside down and no leaks!- magnetic top: when you are using the cooler at your destination, no need to sip it back up every time. It has a magnetic closure( see video) that works very well.- says it has 2- day ice retention- I tested for 24 hours and can confirm ice was solid!- front pocket is also waterproof so if you are taking this to the beach and need somewhere to put your phone…you have a safe place.- beer bottle opener on the side- comfortable strap for carrying- cooler isn ’ t collapsible- it is solid and sturdy- has lubrication included for the zipper- the zipper is tougher to open because of the waterproof technology. Cons: to be honest, I can ’ t find a con. I guess some people may think the zipper is hard to unzip but I rather that than a leaky cooler. Kinda sad I didn ’ t get a larger one. You won ’ t be disappointed in this cooler or the larger ones in this line!

5
hilaryf12
[ This cooler is built really well and stores 18 cans with a little bit of room for ice. It has a nice pocket for putting odds and ends, as well as a really sturdy bottle opener hanging from the side. The straps on the top for your shoulder are woven very tightly to be able to handle a large load.
5
andread458
[ So, while I was sent the wrong one( as seen in photo and I didn ’ t get the backpack one which would ’ ve been awesome), the cooler is still really great. We live on a lake and near the beach a small like to go to the springs. Took this to the springs and the dry pocket keeps your phone and keys dry, our food and drinks stayed cold and the ice kept the entire day. It also floats, so when floating down the river, you can literally just strap this to the raft and it ’ ll float, so much easier than having to rent another raft and hope your cooler doesn ’ t fall off it. The zipper and magnet design is super cool and really keeps water out and everything inside fresh. The one o was sent also has a built in bottle opener. Literally love this cooler, great to bring on the boat and holds a lot.

[ This backpack soft cooler is so convenient. It works so well when we go hiking or having a small picnic. It's a light weight backpack. I believe the outside is made of silicone. The zippers are special. It has 2 layers. One is a normal zipper, and the other is like a ziplock. when we pull the zipper we actually zip 2 zippers at the same time. That's cool but it's a little hard to pull. Maybe because it's new. Hope it gets smoother after using it more often.

There is a nice metal bottle opener attached to the side of the cooler and a large front pocket for carrying small items. Overall this cooler offers a lot and is priced very affordable when compared to other competitors. I would recommend this cooler to people who want quality and affordability.

[ This was a great soft cooler! I tested it over the week mend and it did not leak at all. I carried about 24 cans with ice and it kept all the drinks super cold. I could ’ ve fit more but did not this time. It was super easy to open and get the drinks and was very easy to carry.

tulip687_4870
[ Wow!! What a durable and functional cooler. The sleek exterior look is desirable and neutral. The durability of this cooler is high- end. I recieved the 36 can cooler and i was able to fit 24 cans plus ice. We have had a mild winter where i live so i decided to fill this cooler and test it by setting it outside for 5 days. I checked on it everyday. Day 2 still had ALL ice. Day 3 it started to melt. By day 5 all ice was melted but drinks were still ICE COLD. The magnetic lid creates an insulation like no other. I believe that is the feature that kept my drinks cold for so long. The zippers well, they are tough to open however it really seals out the warm air so i can live with it. The thing that makes the zipper so difficult is that it is outlined in silicone/rubber for a tight seal so it does serve a purpose. The front pouch is perfect size for plates& cutlery. I also love the thoughtfulness of adding a bottle opener. Overall, i think this is a great cooler and i cant wait to see how it works while outside, camping in the hot summers. I would recommend.

Recently a theif thought he needed it worse than i did cut my cables and it was gone.. But from my experience with my old one i bought a new one and will make sure it goes inside anytime im going to be out of the truck for an extended period, i highly recomend the 110 and using quality restraints and security devices because they are in a high demand in other cultures..

My sister and her husband have a Tundra110 on their boat. Not only did it hold ice for several days, it provided a place to sit- even in 3'- 4' waves while moving across a lake at 50+ mph. I do n't know what the specifications of the handles are; but it held me firmly planted on a wild ride! Thank God there is no video!:)

We ’ ve had our 110 for half the summer and it has surpassed my skeptical expectations. After using it for a couple back to back weekends on the Colorado River above Moab in 100+ degree heat I ’ m a believer. What ’s really made an impact is that after sitting in a raft all weekend and then a few more days in the sun of our driveway, there is still ice! Regarding strength, some friends of ours have a Tundra 125 that floated away after high siding a rock on the Dolores River above the Pumphouse take out this spring. Their cooler was found by another party over 5 miles downstream after passing through the notorious Snaggletooth rapids and multiple class 3 sections of river. The cooler had one character adding gouge but was otherwise unscathed.

We went on a week long road trip to Yellowstone National Park and bought this right before the trip. Did the “ pre- cooling ” thing the day before. Threw 2 bags of ice and a frozen 2 liter bottle of water in there with our food the day we left town. Didn ’ t have to buy more ice for 4 days! And the 2 liter bottle still had a big frozen chunk in there! I was more than impressed with how long everything stayed cold in this!

Got the 75 for a Meat locker when I quarter my deer to give me time to process it during early season. I have used it twice and has been absolutely AWESOME! I think I will be getting a 110 next. Some people say these coolers are heavy when they have Ice. I did not find that to be the case. The ice retention is Phenomenal and it does exactly what I need it to do I did n't have to swap out ice once in 3 days and there was ALOT of it left. I also got the Divider for when we go camping it fits great! Dry basket is also nice! But I will be using this for processing mostly.

Outstanding quality just the way it ’s supposed to be. She ’s proudly mounted to the casting deck of my Bay- Boat. I needed the larger catch- box and casting height for my customers. L4K Charters is better with a 125 on deck. Thank you and Semper Fi!

I bought this as a way to stop lugging the wagon with alllllll the stuff is travel sports moms need for tournaments. We have covered Hercules( “ The Beast ” from The Sandlot) with baseball stickers. He ’s the best companion ever. The bin holds everything I need from snacks to KT tape. We have the cold packs since I hate losing room to ice. I put one in the night before to cool him down and then the next day replace with a fresh one and he is good to go for the whole weekend. So many moms have stopped me when they see how fast I am able to strap all my stuff to Hercules and go. No more loading and unloading the wagon, folding it up and finally getting out from long day. Best purchase ever!!!

I bought my Tundra 105 6- 7 years ago. We take it to the beach, camping, to our high- country cabin or just to the local park. It has great capacity, holds ice for days, and is a great seat! I 've beaten up the outside a bit bit not much. Tough as nails. I would 've gone thru a couple of regular coolers by now, and I expect my YETI to outlast me, so as I tell people, its a great investment. Mom always said, but quality, it 'll pay off.

Perfect size. Perfect color!! Brumate is an awesome brand so I knew the cooler would be. It ’s a great size. Can use or take out the tank. Use the tank for drinks/ water or use it to store dry goods( sandwiches) not to get squished. I am SO HAPPY I got this one. The Papaya color really pops!!!

I bought this cooler a few weeks ago to replace my few year old busted and cracked( insert other brand here) cooler that was destroyed by the sun. As a full time fishing guide my coolers get abused especially since they sit in full sun every day. My 2 year old 75qt yeti that I use as a casting platform on the bow still looks like new! This is what steered me to purchase the 160. Paired with the seat cushion that took 5 minutes to install I love it!

This is my second yeti tundra, and it's amazing. I literally can put anything in it and the yeti will freeze anything!

I bought this cooler for long back county trips with clients. It provides plenty of size while still fitting nicely in the bed of a standard pickup. The depth is not too deep and the length is not too long. We debated on the 160 vs 210, but for food practicality we decided on the 160 due to the depth difference. Will be purchasing more in the future.

The real test for this will be in the summer here in Arizona, but so far its an amazing cooler, definitely lasts longer than my tundra haul. 5 days with original ice and its solid as a rock. The really cool thing that yeti does n't mention is it comes with a cover with the sides cut open to allow use of the handles for transport and protecting the metal finish! I wish they made covers for their tundras so it would help keep the sun off.

I have a tundra haul,( 2) 45s, and a 35. But I had to pull the trigger on this sexy piece of engineering design. It ’s definitely going to be my stay at home cooler for patio and get togethers. I attached photos next to a tundra 45. The thinner walls definitely help out a lot to reduce cooler overall size yet gain area inside. It might also tag along on some road trips since it has a small footprint and taller. It ’s built solid, but I will definitely baby it compared to my tundras. The wife even likes how it looks in the kitchen( just dont tell her the price tag...). It was shipped very securely and the black nylon cover is a very nice touch. Love the single latch and handles. Easy to hold and carry alone, but a bit heavier due to the SS. Curious if they will release more sizes and colors in the future... I ’ m sure they will since they say “ series ”. I ’ m a fan for what it is. But prefer my tundras for outdoor trips etc.

[ Years ago, many years ago my Dad owned this Steel Belted Colman Cooler. For years this cooler went with us for a day at the lake and camping weekends in the mountains. One day at the lake, someone decided they liked that cooler and removed it from the truck bed. We sure missed that cooler, it was with us for many years. I highly recommend this Steel Belted Cooler.

[ The Coleman Pro 55 Quart Hard Cooler is ideal for barbecues and gatherings. It offers ample space for ice and drinks, helping to keep food fresh and saving you the hassle of constantly running back to the kitchen. The cooler is well- made and durable, and its handle and wheels make it easy to transport — no need to carry heavy items! It is also easy to clean and comes highly recommended.

jennyd73_1079
[ This is sturdy! I sat on it with my 11 year old and it feels like sitting on concrete. No budge. It holds a lot being that it ’s 55 quart. It ’s easily moved with the wheels. It also has really comfortable handles to make it easier to transfer too. The color really pops and makes me feel like I stand out. This seems to be super insulated. I got it delivered when it was cold and left it closed for hours and opened it and it was still freezing even though my house is in the 70s. The walls are thick. It has places to tie it down. The latch is super easy to open and I have hypermobility issues. The wheels are really big! It ’s easy to move around because of that. Even when it ’s heavy the wheels make it more manageable. I love that it ’s big enough to have a seat on it too. I love love love this!

[ The Coleman Pro 55- qrt hard cooler in the blue sky is gorgeous!!! The large capacity can fit a weekends worth of food and drinks for a family of 4. The thick walls will keep everything cold for days! The material is smooth and will wipe clean with little pressure. The wheels are thick enough to get through sand and strong enough to take on heavy weight across gravel. The large handle on the back is great for extra stability. The two handles in side make ease of getting cooler up stairs.

[ This Coleman Pro 55qt cooler is a beast! It ’s very well built, built with thick and sturdy material, yet it ’s very light weight for. 55qt sized cooler! The color is a light sky blue which is very beautiful and gender neutral, it has thick insulated walls that keep cold items even longer! the drain hole is on a convenient location and its plug cap is tight. It has 2 handles on the side for 2 ppl to carry which is convenient, the best yet, it is portable with sturdy wheels, and retractable handle bar, the height of handle could be adjusted as well. When it is not used, the cooler is very sturdy it cold serve as a sitting stool as well. This 55 qt size is generous enough for you to put a lot of items in it without worrying space is too small in the cooler, it also fits in the trunk perfectly! I highly recommend this Coleman pro 55qt cooler cos of its high quality and built! It looks sleek and nice as well! Ps: I received this free item in exchange for my honest opinion.

[ 316 COOLER 65QT WHL looks so beautiful, easy to pull and eye catching. I love the size, shape and color and it does really do its job very well. The fact that it has wheels is a plus for me because, it makes moving it very easy. The quality is great and the inside is fully insulated. We used this for my daughter ’s birthday and the drinks& ice left inside was still chilled even after 3 days. We had 80 cans of drinks, and they all fitted inside with little space left. It does have a drainage inside for easy draining of water or fluid. It ’s easy to open, and it does have a feature on both side for carrying or you can use the trolley. [ We use this cooler when we go to the lake on the weekends, and it can hold all the drinks and snacks you and your family could need. The ice does not melt for several hours, and the wheels make it so nice for transporting and moving it around on different terrains. We also use the COLEMAN- 316 COOLER 65QT WHL 5861 RCK/W/RCK C2 at home on the patio when we have friends and family over. When you 're outside enjoying a cold drink and the weather is just right, you do not want to get up and walk inside for another drink. I love it because its very effective and I will recommend it.

With this big boy, we can keep it stocked and just grab one and not miss a beat while playing yard bowling or horseshoes. This cooler is the big one, it's the one that's gon na keep all the things nice and cold and you wo n't have worry about whether or not you can fit everything in it. We love it!

[ I needed a cooler and looked at so many different brands. But I have always depended on the Coleman name and glad I did. This cooler is the best. It is on the larger side( 54 quarts) and easily held all of our food for a 4 day camping trip for our family of 4, but still fit nicely in the trunk of our small car with the rest of our camping supplies. I travel frequently for Kayak Bass Fishing( KBF) tournaments and frequently camp off grid in preparation for tournaments. Many of these trips will last 3- 4 days and in the heat of the summer water is essential. In years past I have used gallon jugs and or leaky water coolers. I 'm looking forward to topping off my 1Gal Yeti Jug before heading out onto the water each morning with some ice cold H2O from the Silo. The added comfort of knowing it will not slide around, tip or spill while traveling down the road will allow me to focus on the tasks at hand.

Owning many other Yeti products including a Tundra cooler, I knew I had to have the Silo 6G. I just needed to find an excuse to convince my wife we needed one. When she told me we were hosting a New Years Eve party this year and she needed a large container to hold bulk libations, I knew this was my prime opportunity! Last night we prepped 6 gallons of spiked punch and it fit perfectly! While we opted for no ice to prevent watering down our concoction, I have no doubt about ice retention. There is one thing I wish Yeti would have included on the Silo 6G, a lock- out on the spigot. As soon as we got the Silo all filled up with our ingredients, what was the first thing my 4 year old did? She went over and pushed the button, causing boozy goodness to efficiently flow through the Surepour Spigot all down the front of her and all down the front of my white cabinets. Oh well, at least we still have 5. 9 gallons to ring in the new year with. Yeti, once again, has knocked it out of the park!

We do a lot of off grid camping all over the country. We took the Yeti Silo on our trip out to Canyonlands in Utah. It kept our beverages nice and cool for our 3 day summer trip. Well recommended like other Yeti products. Fit well and was easy to use.

MAW6
This cooler really has everything I was looking for in a performance cooler. The insulation is great. It has secure closing tabs. It has a drain plug. It has a bottle opener. It is a little on the heavy side but all of the good in this cooler can not happen without some weight. Having said that, this cooler is much lighter than many of its competitors. Some folks dig on coolers not keeping cool as long as advertised. It is important to realize that if you put ice/drinks/food in a warm cooler you are bound to have some initial melting just to bring the temperature down. Add some ice prior to using the cooler and it will last really well. No question it's a great deal for what you get.
5
EdSled
The trail mate cooler is the perfect size for the backseat of your car. Having the ability to keep ice upwards of 4- 6 days is a great feature when traveling. The drain plug, which many coolers don ’ t have anymore in this size, allows you to urge water and add needed ice. For two people traveling we find it the perfect size for our needs. Also the weight of the cooler was a big factor in this purchase

Cary1967
I have a similar cooler from Igloo. I bought this one as a raffle prize for our golf tournament. Very well made and I like the handle and like the rubber lock down latches. The comparable size Yeti keeps your stuff cold for$ 250. This cooler keeps your stuff cold for$ 100. You decide if its worth it.
5
AL2005
I like the Trailmate 25. It is big but not bulky or too heavy like some coolers in this size range. It has a metal handle with a nice rubberized grip on it. While similar to other models Igloo offers, this cooler has a seal in the lid, improved rubber latches, drain plug, and heavy duty hinges on the back. It is made in USA which I appreciate and is very solid. Not sure how many total days it can retain ice, since I only use for weekend use. I hope this lasts me many years. Overall I would recommend this cooler. Minor issues that could be improved: 1. I would like the handle to `` lock '' in the upright position to reduce the cooler from swaying side to side while carrying it. 2. The notches where the rubber latches secure are hollow underneath. This allows the latches to scrape/scuff the plastic edges which could possibly wear down overtime. 3. The drain plug could be a tad lower in the cooler so it does n't have to be tipped to drain the last remaining water. 4. I added no- skid furniture pads to the bottom to reduce scratches and scuffs and increase grip for transportation.

[ was hesitant at first about this and if I 'd actually use it, but once I got it and found a space for it in my car's trunk I instantly knew it was gon na be the perfect piece for my day to day use. im a film photographer in LA so I spend a lot of time in my car sitting in traffic and have to carry a lot of gear in my car that should n't be in a lot of heat. I ended up using the backpack cooler for extra water and gatorade and to keep all any film and sensitive cameras to keep em out of this deadly heat wave we 've been on. also useful cuz I hate carrying huge coolers to the beach and dragging those heavy things through the sand, this got rid of all that and is large enough fit food and drinks but the large straps do n't make it uncomfortable or too heavy on the shoulders!
When selecting a rugged cooler, consider features such as durability, insulation, and portability. Look for materials that can withstand harsh conditions and impacts, ensuring the cooler remains functional over time. Insulation is crucial for keeping contents cold for extended periods, so check the thickness and type of insulation used. Additionally, features like wheels or handles can enhance portability, making it easier to transport your cooler to various outdoor locations.
To determine the right size of a rugged cooler for your needs, consider the duration of your trips and the number of people you will be serving. Additionally, think about the types of items you plan to store, such as food, beverages, or ice, as this will influence the size you need. It's also helpful to assess how much space you have for transporting the cooler.

Many rugged coolers are designed to keep ice for several days, with some models capable of maintaining ice for up to a week or more under optimal conditions. To maximize ice retention, it's helpful to pre-chill the cooler and limit the frequency of opening the lid.
Hard-sided rugged coolers are typically made from durable materials that provide excellent insulation and protection for your items, making them ideal for extended outdoor adventures. They often feature thicker walls and a more robust construction, which can handle rough conditions and heavy loads. In contrast, soft-sided coolers are generally lighter and more portable, offering flexibility and ease of transport, but may not retain cold temperatures as long as their hard-sided counterparts.
