My go to every day shoe. They are super versatile and comfy. I wear these to work with jeans, skirts, athleisure style slacks- they go with everything. I personally love the chunky look of them and the white leather makes them more fashion- forward and versatile. I wore them everyday straight for a week in Europe and had no reason to switch to my other shoes. They wipe clean easily too. These are not my favorite Brooks shoes for running, but definitely my favorite for daily wear comfort and style. Stiffer at first then other ghost max but they loosen a bit with wear. The leather is also less breathable than other materials, but worth it to me.

So comfortable, especially when you need to be on your feet all day long. Actually like this version better than the first iteration of the Ghost Max. Compared to the first model, this one is a little stiffer, but has great rebound, which works better for running. The first Ghost Max was excellent for walking, but it felt a little too soft/clunky for running. This shoe works great for both!

Purchased these last November. They 've almost. made it to May with daily miles on pavement. They 're a bit clunky, but the support is excellent and I believe the bulk makes them a bit more durable than the regular Ghost. With the cost of running shoes these days, that matters to me. I should be able to get through a full year with just 2 pairs of these. I 'm a 6 in non- athletic shoes, 6. 5 in these and most running shoes.

I 'm 17 stone and needed shoes that could handle my weight, I googled running shoes for large males and brooks came up, since then I 've always used brooks shoes for my running and walking, I started with trace 2's and walked/speed walked for 11 months on roads and football fields/rugby fields 3 miles a day then when they wore out I graduated to glycerine GTS which is when I started running/jogging again and I continued using them for another year 3 miles a day and also in the gym on the treadmill and on the stairmaster so then I needed to get a new pair so I chose glycerin again which I have to say are the best overall shoes for exercising on all different levels I 'm very happy with the first and second pair of glycerins and continue to wear them for gym work and as a very comfortable shoe for my 12 hour shifts as a care giver. I recently bought a pair of ghost max 2 shoes and I love them but they have much stiffer/harder feel all round and a larger roll forward type sole shape, I 've had to break them then in for the last month as they are much more robust than the glycerins which are straight out of the box run ready! I 'm enjoying the ghost max but be warned that they are so, so different than the trace and glycerin, it's completely changed my running style with the ghost max.... Conclusion.. They are higher and more supportive and stronger all round and slightly heavier too but the finish is top quality, the DNA foam is exceptional quality and comfort the colours are as usual amazing, The tounge padding is good but moves around a lot, the laces are good, the air cooling is great as usual, I 'll always buy brooks as they always make shoes that the customers want and need to exacting standards and for a 17 stone 245 pound heavy built weight training/running fanatic they suit me and my exercise obsessions very well...

Awesome shoes!!! My wife has problematic feet, complicated by diabetes, finding shoes has always been a challenge. She also is an overpronator. The Ariel helped stabilized her feet and ankles with its GTS design( Go To Support). She does n't run currently, but it has been fantastic for walking, and it has improved her gait immensely. She also likes the shoes too, which is a major factor.

These are the best trainers I have ever had. They are supportive and comfortable. I spent years wearing orthotic insoles due to knee and back pain but didnt need them in these trainers. I now have several pairs of these. I am able to run 5k in these without knee pain. I wear them for every day things too so I basically live in them. I have persuaded my mother to try them and she absolutely loves them. She is 74 years old with much worse joint problems than me but she has noticed a significant improvement wearing these trainers. I can not recommend them enough. I think all osteopaths and physios should be recommending these to their patients to be honest.

I have been wearing Brooks shoes for about 20 years and have tried several different models. The Addictions Walkers were the best for my job, police officer. However, it took me a while to find the right model for everyday use, after work. I have hip and lower back issues. The Walkers were not good for long period wear. The Adrenalines, Glycerins, Ghosts, Beasts and Addiction GTS are all mostly for running and wore down my hips and back. When the Ghost Max SE came out, I tried them on and the difference was amazing. I walk with my wife on a track that, with the other shoes, I could only make it once around because of the hip and back pain. I now make it around three times with very little discomfort. I bought my current pair the end of January and intend to buy another before we go on vacation in Florida the end of August. They are not only great for comfort, but also stylish enough for casual dress. Thank you, Brooks for developing these great shoes. The customers who got them as a complimentary sample are very fortunate.

I work from a standup desk and I also log several walking miles each workday traveling from one department to another, both indoors and out. These shoes leave my feet feeling great all day long, and well into the evening when the workday continues into overtime. I have worn Ghosts for several years but the Max is so much better at keeping my feet fresh all day. I will be back for more when I wear these out.
