Great Battery Life and Awesome Features! I use this watch daily for running, MTBing and strength training. the watch performs well and the battery last about 3 weeks. I really like the suggested workouts which keep me on track. this feature is great wether you are just getting started or seasoned runner/cyclist. if you are interested in tracking your fitness progress this is a great option and I would highly recommend.

5 Nelson F
Great battery tracks my workout built in gps love the new features

5 JESSE G
Does so much, I do n't there is a person om earth that can use every feature, I wear it everyday, use it to keep me on task, use it for runs, and when i am in the mountains. Love this watch. I have charged it once, and I have had it for almost 3 or 4 months, I will charge it tomorrow for the second time.

5 D Steven F
Upgraded from my Fenix 7 to get the full color display. Much more vibrant and readable, with excellent battery life( about 3 weeks with moderate GPS use). As with prior models, it is a bit of a chore to get the menus, display fields, and the watch face customized to your liking, but after that, it just works, with excellent functionality. Main hesitation in recommending it is just the price. Unless you use the microphone/speaker functions( which I do only occasionally) the main upgrade from recent models is the display and battery life.

5 Victor C
All the functions I expected and love, plus the functionality of the touch screen, and voice recognition is definitely worth the upgrade!

The battery life is fantastic, maps and tracking is great.

5 Tesmond H
This has been the best fitness watch I 've owned. I used to be a Fitbit person, but since switching to Garmin, I 'll never go back. The solar charging feature with this particular model is advantageous for outdoor users. There are many features with this watch that might be more geared towards experts, but anyone can benefit from it. Personally, I enjoy the GPS features( on- watch map, compass, altitude, etc.), sleep data, and keep track of my activities including swimming with its good resilience to water.

5 Fenix7xPro
i bought my Garmin Fenix 7x Pro Sapphire Solar watch more than a year ago and am very happy. Though it lacks a few of the features of Fenix 8 but its still very good.

5 Chad S
Durability, Battery life, flash light, and all the other things that come with a Garmin are very nice features.

5 BackTrack
I recently upgraded to the Fenix 7X Pro Solar and I am very happy with the touch screen, new features and extended battery life. The buttons also seem to function better. It gives more detailed info on your workouts and the GPS seems to be more accurate as well. I am glad that I upgraded although I kind of had to as after I fixed my old watch( cleaned the buttons as one of them was sticking), water vapor started to creep in and I broke the LED screen when trying to separate it from the watch face due to the vacuum effect from the water vapor. Can Garmin Fix for a fee?

Sturdy and robust design built for the hardships of everyday wear in all conditions. Great fitness tracking, gps, sleep monitoring, and the flashlight is awesome. UI is kind of weird like in most garmin products but the button interface makes it friendlier than most. Best suited for the committed adventurer and athlete. The solar display is less vibrant so watch faces can be a bit dull, the simpler face the better.

5 Nicholas C
If you want a watch that can track any activity and has a battery last for weeks look no further. This watch does it all, with accurate GPS tracking and long battery life it is perfect for my uses. I mainly use it for running and cycling and its amazing. While this has all the bells and whistles it is definetley meant for the more serious consumer. It may be too much for the beginner with the price.

5 Jeremy S
The battery life is great on it, using this watch for all around activities but tracking your runs are great, I love that the screen is pretty much unbreakable and that the bezel doesn ’ t catch too much light causing glare. Very simple to use out the box, and recommended to set it up on the app for a quicker and easier set up. Don ’ t think about buying it. Just buy it. Did my research and the cheapest place I found it was on here.

4 Bennett W
as a lot of people are i am a little disappointed on the battery life. i only get around 9 days in smart watch mode with almost no gps activity. but besides the battery life it is a great watch and i really like how it looks.

4 Daina L
This watch has everything you could want, however the basics are really tough to access. The default setup is basically option overload. This solar watch is also a lot larger and heavier than some of their other models. It doesn ’ t feel like a good everyday watch and is hard to fit over sleeves of jackets( at least woman ’s ones?

5 HoyaSportsMom
I upgraded from a Venu 2 to a Fenix 7s after I determined that I wanted more training features and data points as I marathon train. This watch is everything and more than I ever could have hoped for in an everyday watch, fitness tracker, training tool and its all wrapped up in a very stylish exterior. The battery life is phenomenal. The ability to load my training plans on to the watch is simple. While I loved my Venu 2 and I so happy that I made the switch.

5 Elduhd
Bought this few months ago and did not regret doing so. Great for trainings.

5 HikerFL
I bought this a month ago when I saw they were getting rid of them for the Fenix 8's. I had done a product comparison on the site before, and the only thing the 8 had the 7 did n't was an AMOLED screen, and slightly better waterproof rating for the new dive features. That was it. Not enough for me to want the 8 over the 7, or justify the large price difference. Beyond that, this is a huge upgrade for me from my fitbit. I wanted a watch that would be durable and have a longer lasting battery than the Apple or Google watches. I loved it could have increased accurate GPS coverage and maps for when I go hiking. My sister has the Apple and her battery not only dies before a long hike is over, but the GPS is n't as accurate. The health metrics seem to be in depth compared to the fitbit, and I like seeing my training status and load efficiency. I tested this battery last week. Any time you start a GPS related activity it zaps the battery more. I was also out in full sun often so this helped. I was able to log a hike+ 3 short kayaking sessions on one charge, and it lasted 11 days before needing a charge.( I did not have any smart phone notifications turned on) If you 're looking for a watch that's geared more towards those who are into outdoor recreation for their exercise, and has the rugged durability to survive these activities, this watch is for you. If you need just a smart watch for time, emails, and what not this watch might be overkill for what you 're looking for.

5 dfitnis
love love the fenix it tracks every sports/activity I do daily the battery has lasted a long time and I think the solar helps especially running/biking outside where it gets sunlight alot. my only issue is I have a small wrists- I wish there was a slightly smaller size.

5 Runnergirl Linda
This watch was a delightful upgrade to my previous Garmin watch. I didn ’ t need to replace my previous watch, but after getting the Fenix for my husband at Christmas, I wanted this watch. I run, walk, weightlift, do yoga, swim, Sup—you name it. I love the ability to see how I slept, suggested workouts, etc upon waking.

This has been an amazing tool for my climbing train, all outdoor adventures, and beginning to trail rain. I can ’ t recommend it enough!

5 bostondude
[ Bought this last month. First of, MJ was great in replacing the first unit I received, which had clearly been used( likely prior buyer had returned it after wearing it). The unit I received as replacement has been phenomenal. Very user- friendly, awesome battery life, and what is impressing me so far is that Coros is very actively improving its features. Just this week they started rolling out turn- by turn navigation. While music functionality is somewhat limited right now( only storage of MP3s on the watch itself I have no doubt this will keep getting better as well. But even if not this watch will serve me very well for running, cycling, swimming, indoor rowing, and many other things for years to come.

5 darb
[ i did my homework before i bought the Coros Apex 2 watch, so i thought i knew what to expect when it arrived a few weeks ago. i expected the battery life to be longer than most watches that this compares to. i expected that the Apex 2 would have all the features i needed as an avid mountain biker. this watch is more than that. the watch is lighter and more compact than i thought it would be. i am not sure how they are able to provide the functions and battery life in a smaller lighter package. i definitely have no regrets with this watch and i look forward to all the adventures that i will take it on with me.

This is my first ever Garmin Watch. So far I am incredibly impressed! It is so nice I am hesitant to get it dirty and am afraid to scratch it. However, it is incredibly durable and I am amazed at how accurate the rep count is and how comfortable the watch is. There is so much customization and features available! I know I will never be able to utilize up to 10 percent of the watches' potential but I will certainly try and continue to build myself with it.

5 TheFlash

5 MossFL407
Picked this up at a discounted price and feel like I have the best device at this price point. Was looking at the new Fenix but why pay more? Extremely happy with device, functions and battery life.

5 CRFORREST2
I 've had this Epix Pro for2 years! One of my favorite Garmin items... with the best battery life around!!

5 ChuckDL
I had bought this watch after owning the Fenix 5x Plus Sapphire and then the Venu 3. I did like the Fenix 5x Plus but did n't love it. So, I thought the Venu 3 would fill the void that was present on the 5x Plus, it did not. The Epix Pro Gen 2 Sapphire has everything that's missing in the Fenix 5x Plus and Venu 3. This watch is a beast and has helped me track everything from hiking, walking, and bicycling with great accuracy. It has the color touch of the Venu 3 but maps and many other features of the Fenix 5x Plus. Just an all around wonderful watch!

10 Garmin watches in over many years and many Ironman races. I had an issue that persisted over a couple months and Garmin made it right and that is all I could ask for.

5
The watch is so packed with features it is diffuse to know if I am fully utilizing it. This is my first Garmin and a multi year Apple Watch user. Solely battery capacity makes this watch superior. I have been wearing for 3 weeks. Haven ’ t really used the maps much, which was my primary reason for getting this model. Probably could have gone with the Instinct 2 or 3. Seems like functionality is the mostly the same, minus mapping. But again I am still learning the watch.

5 Bucket_Hat
A fantastic way to track progress across a variety of sports. Some of the data definitely isn ’ t 100% accurate but it provides great insight as a means of comparison.

5 Mleon
One of the biggest surprises for me was how much the detailed metrics opened my eyes to things I wasn ’ t even accounting for before—like recovery time, heart rate variability, and sleep quality. I used to just track basic distance and time, but this watch really shows you the full picture of your health and performance. It's helped me make smarter decisions about training, rest, and even daily stress management. The build quality is amazing too—super tough yet surprisingly lightweight for how durable it feels. The sapphire crystal and solar charging are a game- changer; I barely worry about battery life even with heavy GPS use. Navigation features are also top- tier, and I love how intuitive the touchscreen is without sacrificing the classic button setup. Another huge plus: the mapping and outdoor features are incredibly detailed. Whether I ’ m running, hiking, or cycling, the watch keeps me locked into the route and even alerts me if I go off track. It ’s truly a complete adventure companion. If you want something that not only tracks your workouts but genuinely helps you optimize your lifestyle, this watch is worth it.

5 Pmoneymatt
Got the watch on discount, was a huge upgrade from my venu. Flashlight gets used way more than I thought it would.

5 BrianA
I have had this watch for over a month now and love it. I have Garmin Connect on my Android it works great, pairs quickly with the watch with no issues. I rarely take it off and use it to work on my sleep, physical activity and to keep me from getting lost, lol. I wish I had purchased one sooner.

The fēnix® 7 – Sapphire Solar Edition is an exceptional multisport GPS smartwatch that blends rugged durability with advanced features. The build quality is outstanding, with a sleek yet tough design that holds up in extreme conditions. The Sapphire lens provides excellent scratch resistance, and the solar charging extends battery life impressively, especially for outdoor adventures. Performance- wise, the watch excels in tracking a wide range of activities—from running and hiking to skiing and swimming. GPS accuracy is reliable, and the detailed health metrics( heart rate, Pulse Ox, sleep tracking) are valuable for fitness and overall wellness monitoring. One standout feature is the seamless integration with Garmin Connect, offering detailed insights and customizable workout plans. The touchscreen, combined with traditional buttons, makes navigation intuitive in any environment. Pros: Solar charging extends usage Premium, rugged design Accurate GPS and health tracking Long battery life Excellent sport mode variety Cons: Pricey, but worth it for serious athletes and outdoor enthusiasts Can be bulky for smaller wrists Overall: The fēnix® 7 – Sapphire Solar Edition is a top- tier smartwatch for anyone serious about performance, adventure, and durability. Highly recommended.

5 Chris A
First off, it's been a while since I 've had a smart watch, I believe a first gen Apple. This thing is amazing! I mainly wanted it to track fitness, as I 'm always concerned with using battery life on my phone for Strava, so having this has been a game changer. The battery life is crazy good! And it seemlessy integrates with Strava, and even Apple Health. And, it tells time too! There are so many functions this thing can do that I 'm not even aware of, but just being able to track fitness, check emails and texts, and see what time it is without having to pull my phone out of my pocket has been a game changer. It's been great so far...

[ Great watch. It ’s not too big. It ’s comfortable to wear to sleep. Creating routes on it is easy, though the map is a little hard to see. I ’ ve had it for a couple weeks and I like all the data it provides with regard to quantifying exercise volume, recovery, and optimal levels of activity. As a personal trainer training for several athletic pursuits, it ’s helping me track my recovery. It ’s inspiring me to take my sleep more seriously. I ’ m still learning how to use some of the advanced features. I no longer carry my phone hooked up to my HRM when I exercise. Anyway.. lots of positive changes to my life after finally biting the bullet and getting a smart watch. I am now curious if I could have tolerated the bulkiness( in addition to the higher price tag) of the higher end model. But no regrets. Get this watch.

5 BFD22
[ Decided to try Coros after years with Garmin. Sapphire glass and titanium case have prevented any damage so far. Coros app is also great. Highly recommend

5 Cat_12
[ I absolutely love this watch! The battery life is amazing-- I only have to charge it once every two weeks, and I usually use it every day for activities that are 1- 2 hours long. The GPS has worked great, though I have n't tested it out on routes that might have reduced signal. There is no 'mountain bike' activity, though the regular 'ride' activity works perfectly fine for mountain bike rides. I really like that you can customize the watch face for each activity. Overall, great watch! Highly recommend!

I bought this a month ago and so happy that I did. I ca n't wait to use all the features I 've been using the golf part in it does exactly what I need.

5 wtmn
Lots of features that ultimately keep you more motivated. It becomes a quest to `` feed '' the computer in order to see more metrics. Thisin turn increases your workload. Using along with Edge 530 for cycling to log strength, walks, hiking and other activities. all condensed into the Connect app gives a good diary and progress report.

5 vexvex
I ’ ve used the Garmin Epyx 2nd Gen for two years, and when mine had an issue, Garmin replaced it — no questions asked. But more importantly, this watch isn ’ t just smart — it ’s built for real- life survival. Unlike the Apple Watch, which dies after a day or so, the Epyx 2 Gen lasts 16 days — with GPS on. That alone puts it in a class of its own. If you ever get lost, your phone and tablet will die fast — but this watch keeps going. That ’s more than convenience — that ’s a lifeline. It ’s got everything you 'd expect from a high- end smartwatch — heart rate, altimeter, compass, sunrise/sunset times, text and call notifications( answerable via earbuds), and yes, music control. But these features aren ’ t what makes it special. What makes it special is that it ’s reliable. It doesn ’ t quit when you need it the most. This isn ’ t a toy or a fashion piece. It ’s a serious tool for people who live active, unpredictable lives. The Epyx 2 isn ’ t just another watch. It ’s peace of mind — on your wrist.

5 Chuck712
I 've only had this watch for a few weeks, so I have n't had a chance to really test it, but so far, I am very pleased with it. I plan to use this watch to record bicycle trips instead of my older Edge 820. The Epix has profiles for a number of different activities. My main interests are walking/hiking, kayaking, and cycling. My older Garmin Vivoactive 4 did not have a specific kayaking activity; I found this mildly annoying. Now I do n't have this problem since the Epix has a specific kayaking activity.
