[ My first outing with this chair was on a long walk on a beach at Bodega Bay in northern California. I am pushing 80 with arthritis in both knees. After 20 minutes I needed a rest. I sat while others continued. After sitting comfortably for over 30 minutes, I rejoined my group to head back. Very pleased with how well I felt. Love the portable weight and overall construction. I got this last year and I find it so useful. It ’s lightweight and easy to throw in the car if you might need it. It was a lifesaver when an outdoor concert we went to turned out to be much longer than anticipated. I will say that when I sit down, I let my weight onto it slowly to make sure it gets settled properly and doesn ’ t tip. I don ’ t know how else to describe it but sitting down slowly is the way to go. Really useful for my needs. If they had it in pink, I would get another one.

The only improvement I would suggest for this chair would be some way to strap it to a backpack… either a strap or a hook. I ’ ll improvise. VERY Close TIE to the famous competitor GCI Quik E- Seat! Theirs feels a hair more comfy with the slightly more cushioned back. I 've been looking for a stool, chair or something that would pack small enough to fit in my pack but that I could also use to actually get work done while sitting. Super comfortable and definitely helps with posture. I have terrible posture and am always slouching forward/over at my desk. I recently purchased a desk that can be raised and lowered and this chair works perfect with it! I can raise it as high as I want or sit low if preferred when I 'm not standing.
