I bought these boots for fishing the Bay Area in Texas for Redfish. They are comfortable and easy to walk in.

5 Juancho
[ Perfect wading boot where I live because of all the oyster beds and sting rays and the potential for a nice fishing outing gone sour really quick

5 S J
Excellent fit minimal break- in required. Good protection and support but soft ankle collar for minimal ankle abrasion with long long hikes thru water. Expensive though. Work best w industry standard neoprene socks w built in gators from Simms, Orvis or Korkers.

5 Ken
Great for wading the bay. Light weight can go all day. Run small in size.

5 MatthewS
Best boots for the flats period. Tons of support, durable and comfortable all day!

Great for accessing hard to get honey holes without using changing shoes ... Boots feel amazing like a comfortable hiking shoe went with one size up as recommended fit

5 William D.
They are very comfy wearing them all day on the water. They 're also very grippy without any studs. They are true to size so make sure when you order them you order the correct size, I normally ordered size 11 which were snug and got 12s and they are a little bit big but still usable.

5 Jerry M.
Great for accessing hard to get honey holes without using changing shoes

5 Billy
Used them for a week long trip that was mostly walk/wading and in and out of a drift boat. The grip is great and the lightweight feel of the boots makes them very comfortable. Not much of a break in period though the ankles are a little stiff at first. Can definitely feel the softer inner sole grip the pointed rocks compared to the stiffer outer sole, which helps them feel a bit like hiking boots. Would highly recommend them.

5 Allen H.
Best wade boots iv ever worn from long distance Wade ’s and long periods of standing no wade boot cones even close to their durability and comfort!

5 Logan S.
Boots feel amazing like a comfortable hiking shoe went with one size up as recommended fit perfect!!!

I have enjoyed these so much since they arrived! I have not worn them fishing but they are great for around town. I do look forward to trying them out either wet wading or wearing them with neoprene foot waders. I ordered a size up from my regular shoe size to have lots of room. The strap is great to provide stability. I have worn Crocs for wet wading before but these are a step up.

5 Chris O.
Love the shoe but after a few days of use the gum sole started to delaminate from one of the shoes. Currently working with Simms on a warranty replacement.

5 Logan M.
Love these new drifters. Great quality and very comfortable for every day use and even better on the water! Simms always sets the bar high.

5 Lois B.
My grandson will love these to use on his boat! He says they are very comfortable.

5 Steve G.
Although I 've not had these shoes very long, I 've really enjoyed them. I 'm hoping they hold up and last like my Crocs typically do.

OMG! I love these shoes. I am going to by another pair for daywear. The have a big toe base good for wide feet. I haven ’ t taken them off since buying them!

5 Michael P.
Wear 'em to work, they are stylish and comfortable. Then through the brush and wet wade in 'em! Rocks, sand and mud are no match! Going on their second summer!

5 Shayne A.
The most comfortable wet wading shoe I 've found. I want to get a second pair before they sell out.

Great Boots. Lightweight, Waterproof, quick drying.

5 Jonathan N.
After reading the reviews, and finally using the boots for 6 days in CA, everything is true about how light weight they feel and the comfort added from the thoughtful lacing system! Also a plus is they don ’ t look bulky. I ended up getting vibrams since I have felt g3s too, but If I were to do it all over again I ’ d probably get a second pair of these in felts.

5 Charles P.
Boots were lite and comfortable. Easy to get on and off and provided plenty of support.

5 jim S.
Replacing my older Sims boots after many years of trudging to duck lines and fishing the Stanislaus river.

5 Marcus
Excellent product. Quality is exceptional. The grip is top- notch and the flexibility provided by the BOA makes these super comfortable. 10/10 recommend, worth the investment.

5 MichaelS
Best wader boots I ’ ve ever owned. Probably going to order a back up pair

5 MichaelE
Great fit!! Light weight but very rugged. Boa makes on and off SO EASY!! Absolutely love them!!!

5 CaptJonB
Awesome boot. Great grip on the soles and not having to tie laces is great. Easy on easy off!

5 CorieB
Best wading boots ever! Comfort is a plus and much lighter than my G4 boots. Love the boa, I ’ ve been debating on this type of boots and pulled the trigger, super pleased with fit& performance. I did add the Hardbite Boot Cleat, perfect combination and kept me wading safely steelheading this season. Highly recommend if you ’ re thinking about a wading boot easy on& off. Saves the fingers during cold weather too. One thing I ’ d change is the placement of the D- ring, my wading cuffs will not stay connected.

Started with a pair of field and stream brand boots, lasted 2 years. Then went for a pair of orvis Clearwater that lasted only 1 year before the heel started to wear out and damage my waders. These simms boots seem like they will outlive both of the previous pair. They are so rugged and sturdy. I love that the whole boot is made of a thick rubber. The boots go so far up the ankle that you have so much support. It ’s almost like they make you stand up straight and have proper form. 50+ miles have been hiked in these since owning them for the past 2 months and they still fit and look like they are brand new. Simms will be the only brand I buy from their waders, to rain jackets, to hats. Quality all around

5 Roberrtinc
GreT boots …. run a bit wider than others but i wnt up a size to allow for thick winter socks

5 RichardP
I bought the boots for my son who wears a size 15 shoe and thus needed a size 16 wading boot. They seem to fit him well though he has not tested them in the water yet as he has a career and family with a baby so he hasn ’ t had the opportunity to do so. We are looking forward to our first outing together and I was so excited to find these for him. Thanks for the great product and support!

5 BillN
I will start by saying these are the best pair of boots I have ever owned for wading and I would highly recommend these boots. They are very comfortable with excellent support and great traction. I also purchased a pack of the hardbite studs which work great. I were a size 12 shoe and I purchased a size 12 boot and they fit perfectly with my waders. I have only used them a few times so far so not sure how they will hold up. But so far so good. They still look brand new lol. I would give simms a 5 out of 5 on these. I ’ m sure there higher line boots are amazing as well but for a more mid priced boot these are definitely worth it to me.

5 JohnM
These boots replace my old Simms Leather Guide Boots, which are twenty years old and still serviceable. Incredible boots, comfortable to hike in and the fit is great. Follow the Simms sizing guidelines and you should be good to go. Sent a photo of the boots with me wearing my Simms Guide pant waders. They are twenty years old and still no leaks…incredible products!

5 DavidandBeckyH
Love the hiking boot feel and flexibility of my Flyweights. Perfect for our hike in streams here in the Southern Appalachian and Smoky Mountains! Dual purpose footwear. They work well with my G4 ’s or a pair of Simms wading socks for the summer heat!

5 Kevin V
They work great right out of the box! I knocked the new off of them by fishing 7 straight days in Argentina on the Malleo. The boots offered plenty of support both in and out of the water. We did a lot of walking and I had no problem scrambling up and down the bluffs. The felts worked just fine on the slick, rolling, bowling ball sized rocks and my legs appreciated the lite weight at the end of the week. I ordered the size recommended on the Simms webpage and they fit great. I highly recommend them.

5
Light weight with plenty of support and comfort. I ordered my shoe size which was perfect for my waders and a pair of heavy socks. Got the felt for North Georgia fishing and will get a pair of the rubber soled for my trips out west. Thumbs up!

5 KEITH
Used them on the Neversink, a river whose riverbed is full of good size rocks and boulders that are moss covered. The boot gripped like a charm. Because of the light weight the boot did n't protect me as well as my heavier, more padded boots when I stepped in between rocks but the lightweight was a real lifesaver with our 2. 2 mile hike from the river at the end of day.

5
These boots are amazingly light and appear to be very durable. Just fished in them everyday for a week and was totally satisfied. The size chart was accurate and very helpful- got the boots bigger than I would have thought, but the size was just right.

Fit great easy to get on and off. I have mobility and flexibility issues and was able to tie them with no difficulty. Wore them for 7 hrs in 44 Degree water my feet were warm all day long. I need a cane to walk and these bots gave me an added to my ability to wade in more rocket water.

5 KeenanC
The boot is fairly lightweight and rugged. Very simple boot without much to it. Fits true to size and is able to lace up securely. Not as stiff as most other wading boots. I like that it has the metal rivets along the eyelights for the laces. These boots appear as if they were made to last. I would recommend this boot to others. It was a tad bulkier than what it appears in the picture, but not excessively so. Fits well with a lot of good support. Easy to walk in for a long day of fishing.

5 Garrett F.
Paired perfectly with the waders. Comfortable to hike upstream

5 Michael J.
Good construction and comfortable. I 've worn twice so far and very pleased.

5 Brent P.
I give these 5 stars as I have put somewhere around 300 days or more fishing my first pair of these and have put 20 or so on a second because the sole cracked on the first. I fish the Rio Grande in New Mexico several days a year crawling on the volcanic rock, boulders, cactus, sage and they have held up to it. I have tortured these boots and they held as long as any other guides much more expensive boots. I only wish I could get them with about a 3rd the volume as I have a size 13 B foot and have to fill lots of space with wading socks. Even still I bought a second pair.

[ Bought boots for some felt restricted areas in New England. Great ankle support and sure- footed, Simms hit these boots out of the park! Paired with crampon blades for ocean surfcasting allows me one boot for my pursuits.

5 Jackie27
[ Even lighter and more comfortable than I hoped they ’ d be. Wear a size 9 shoe in every brand and a size 10 boots fit perfectly with orvis super light waders

5 Jackleg
Great boots for hiking and wading. You no longer have to choose between lightweight and a proper wading boot. Vibram bottom sticks well to river stones well!

5 Psmall
[ The lightest wading boots I have ever worn and probably the most durable. They are great for trekking to fishing spots because they are light and don ’ t feel like you ’ re dragging your feet along. You won ’ t be disappointed with these. Also size up one size

5 MacDiesel
[ I bought these when my old boots finally fell apart. I actually bought a number of different boots to try them on and these topped the bunch in terms of fit and weight. So I returned the others and the next test was how these operated in use and the passed with flying colors. I picked a 2. 5mile hike in that had varied terrain from gravel to lots of rocks to a fair bit of scrambling to get to the good holes. These performed very well. The soles are stiff enough to support walking across the rocky bottom and not risk an ankle but supple enough to feel the terrain and grippy enough to feel secure and not slip. I noticed the weight( or lack thereof) after 7 hours of hiking, fishing, exploring- my legs and feet felt great. They shed mud and silt very well and finally they dried quickly. I 'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend this boot to anyone looking.
