I like that they have a solid body as opposed to a hollow body. The bait lasts longer and the short tentacles always have great action. I 've been using Zoom products for several years now and use the swimmin chunk as a trailer on a 1/4 ounce jig and also a 3/8 ounce jig. i usually dip the legs in a chartreuse garlic dye, and most of my jigs are a shade of green( usually a green crawfish) not sure if the bass see this as a bluegill or crawfish; only that it catches fish!! i fish an extremely clear, fairly deep lake so detail is very important.

I have been using Zoom Fat Albert grubs for several years and they are the best in my opinion. I fish them on a jig head', swimming them back to the boat using a lift and drop retrieve and sometimes a straight retrieve. You need to try both methods to see which one works the best each day. I also use them as a trailer on spinner baits. And do n't forget to try them on a safety pin rig like the old beetle spin but with the Fat Albert in stead of the beetle.

I 've been very happy with the action, durability and color options of the Rapala Cleanup Craw. I 've used it as a jig trailer and Texas rigged it on an EWG hook with success. I can speak from alot of experience with this product. I use this these for freshwater trout that are locally stocked. If you impart the correct action, you will draw strikes when nobody else is.. i 've often outfished live fatheads. Also, if your intentions are to catch and release, using a 2 in jig like this with a 1/32 th oz head assures an easy liphook for quick releases. Ill tell you the secret, pretend your teasing a cat on your retrieve and fish will jump on it!

Use on heavy rod fast action 7ft- 7' 6 with braid minimum 50lbs. I use a frog weighted 5/0 1/8oz screw lock. These things work like no other I 've tried every freaking brand that makes them and zoom out preform all of them. You 'll go through a bunch until you figure out how to make them last but it's worth it with these guys. You can throw this in open water, over pads, pond scum you name it bass will destroy it guaranteed!

I bought this on a whim not knowing how to use it. First try was on a Ned rig and it worked really well, after the second cast I got three decent size bass. Thought how else can I use this. It was a windy day so I thought I can just throw this out on a drop shot and let the current do the work and surprisingly it did. After about five minutes with this just sitting out there, I never moved it, a three and a half pound bass decide to eat it. Great little bait.

this is definately the bait that august and september fluke off NJ seem to like. This bait caught a 8. 5 fluke for my son, 2- 5 pound fluke for me and 27 over the rail with this gulp. It is tough to find in store.

I think this is one of the best swimbait deals on the market. It is only 20 for 42, that is if you dont care about color. I bought mine online and got black and blue for the 3. 25 inch size instead of pumkinseed. This dose n't really matter to me, but if you specifically want these colors I would not recommend purchasing. However these are good swimbaits, esspecially for the price.
