When I was introduced to this spinnerbait I did n't believe how powerful it could be. However, after using it my first time I realized that this is a formidable lure. This lure is great. I caught something almost as soon as I tossed it in. However, it's too good for what I needed it for. We were doing catch and release and this is not good for that. The three hooks made it tough to get out in time. Luckily I was able to and the little fella was able to swim away, but I stopped using it after that. HmoobYexus
The good part first. I originally bought this for bass fishing, but I caught different species with it( Bluegills, Crappie, Small- mouths, Large- mouths). I do n't understand the idea behind how it simply attracts fishes, but they will definitely bite this lure if they 're enticed by looking at it long enough. And this lure comes in the best color( chartreuse) for fishing, which is a plus. Now to the Cons. While I knew that this spinner was going to sink, I was however shocked at how it swam. As it gets reeled back in, it quickly rises to the surface. Unlike other spinners that stays under the water no what speed, if this lure gets reeled in too fast then it will surface. I thought this was unusual since it's a weighted spinner and it should have stayed underwater the entire time. Overall conclusion: It's a great lure, whether if you 're a beginner or if you want to catch many fishes or if you 're just interested into buying a cheaper lure. This is my first Blue Fox lure and I 'm glad that I made this purchase.

Went out trout fishing and they were ONLY biting on THESE lures! I went through at least a dozen different lures/bait without a single nibble before stringing one of these up. After that, all I used were these lures and caught all day long! I clipped an 1/8oz split shot on the lure right above the blade( making sure that the blade could still spin freely) to give me better casting distance with my spinning rod and it was just the right distance at just the right depth. After almost 50 years of fishing in PA, VA and DE, still my favorite trout and panfish lure. I 've used different colors but yellow body with a silver blade and black with a gold blade( 1/8 th oz) seem to work the best for me in creeks and ponds. I tie a tiny barrel swivel with a clip directly on to my line( 10 lbs. braid) and attach the lure to the clip. Simple lure, casts and retrieves well, good construction. Explosive hits. Fun to use.

It's hard to beat Panther Martins for a variety of applications: trout in the Sierras, panfish and small bass in ponds, etc. Perhaps no other lure is quite as versatile across so many platforms. They are n't cheap, but they 're well made. They run/spin true, and the hooks are sharp. Love' em.

Being an amateur fisherman, I 'm always losing a spinner to a tree now and then, so, with the six pack being a better value then buying them individually, it's a good deal. They are good basic lures for trout and bass.

Spinner blades are fishing lures designed to create vibration and flash in the water, attracting fish. They typically consist of a rotating blade that spins as the lure is retrieved, mimicking the movement of prey. This action can entice various species of fish, making spinner blades a popular choice among anglers.
Spinner blades are often made from metal, which provides durability and a reflective surface to enhance visibility in the water. Some blades may also feature plastic components for added buoyancy or weight. The choice of material can affect the lure's performance and the type of fish it attracts.
Spinner blades are versatile lures suitable for various fishing environments, including freshwater and saltwater. They are effective for targeting species such as bass, trout, and pike. Depending on the size and color of the blade, they can be used in different conditions, from fast-moving rivers to calm lakes.
Choosing the right size spinner blade depends on the type of fish you are targeting and the fishing conditions. Larger blades can create more flash and vibration, making them suitable for murky waters or larger fish. Conversely, smaller blades are often better for clearer waters and more finicky species.
Single spinner blades typically offer a more subtle presentation, while double spinner blades create increased vibration and flash. The choice between them can depend on the fishing conditions and the behavior of the fish. Anglers may experiment with both types to see which yields better results in specific situations.
Yes, spinner blades can be effective year-round, but their effectiveness may vary by season. In warmer months, they can attract active fish, while in colder months, slower retrieves with smaller blades may be more successful. Adjusting your technique and blade size based on the season can enhance your fishing success.
