I 've had my eye on this set for a while, and finally picked it up a few weeks ago. Very happy with the quality and build of the knives. Carrying case is also very nice. I 'm a tiny bit disappointed with the cutting board as it's pretty small and thin/flimsy, but realizing it's intended to be used out in the field or at the campsite, I completely understand why they kept it small and lightweight. It would definitely work for some quick small work if needed, but I 'm intending to use these knives mostly at home so I 'm not concerned. Highly recommended set of knives!

We bought this set last year with the thought of it being strictly for my camp kitchen. We busted it out on the first night camping after making brisket and holy cow are these thing sharp! It carved the brisket up just perfect and smooth. I have since used these for just about every BBQ out door cooking event I have gone to. Only thing I wish was different was the pocket for the cutting boards was a bit bigger to hold one or two more but over all I am very pleased with this set.

This knife was a birthday gift two years ago. After cleaning 1200 or so perch and a hundred walleye I would recommend for moderate use. I was really skeptical when I opened the package and saw how small this knife is. But it has proven to be really handy at work and abroad. I recently purchased this knife on this website after wanting to try one out for quite awhile. I am not disappointed. The knife is weighty in the hand but ergonomically designed so as not to feel `` heavy ''. It feels present while clipped to your pocket, which I appreciate. After carrying this it has quickly become my favorite EDC with it's ease of deployment, wicked sharp factory edge and very solid build quality. I am not an expert or a snob by any means but after having several below$ 50 folder knives come and go, this knife feels like a substantial tool; not just a tape cutter or mail opener. If you are interested in the knife and have the means, go for it! And to our friends at Dick's, the model number does not contain a `` Z ''. This is an American made ZT 0350. I confirmed this with the manufacturer. Thank you for offering it on the website!

The Salute Mini is somewhat of a misnomer for this knife. It is a very well built, well balanced, mid- sized lockback. It has an excellent blade profile for piercing as well as slicing. Dual, bronze pivot washers are rare at this price point. Nothing was really skimped on with superb knife except maybe the bead blast finish as opposed to satin polish. I ca n't comment on the black version other than my personal preference for silver blades. You 'd be hard pressed to find better quality and value than the Salute `` Mini ''. It's a no B. Purchased the 6 inch flexible blades for pan fish. They work great and I really like the flexible blades for removing the skin. They slide right under the filet and help to remove more of the meat.

Awesome Warren Osborne design. Awesome Axis action. The 940 is one of the top 5 knife designs ever. Awesome Benchmade Lifesharp warranty. I ordered this knife and received the satin blade like James64 but I prefer the satin finish so for me a win. Great EDC. You wo n't find this knife cheaper anywhere when you use a$ 20 off coupon. Buy this knife, you wo n't be disappointed.

[ Got this knife 8 or so years ago and have beat on it. It has held up to a lot of abuse. Super sharp when i got it. The edge held for a while but if you are actually using this knife, you will eventually have to sharpen it. It takes patience to get a nice edge back. Crazy hard steel. Great knife overall. It has done so much for me. Worth every penny.

[ I bought this to replace my 20 year old Benchmade, which the clip had unfortunately loosened over the years. This is an incredible knife. Benchmade definitely hit it out of the park. The opening is extremely smooth, the lock is secure, and it is still easy to close with one hand.

[ I 've used this knife on some tough work including scraping against metal and the edge has held up beautifully. The black cerakote on the blade is also very durable and will resist abrasion well. The action is very smooth and the locking mechanism for the blade is reliable.

Great knife. Much better than vapor knife I bought years ago. Bought accessories to maintain the knife. A bit anxious about its length and daily use. Live in Illinois and I ’ m not sure if it ’s legal to carry in the suburbs. Definitely not legal in Chicago which requires under 2 ”!

I ’ ll be honest, I first bought this knife because it looked cool and was on sale at a crazy price. I have to say it blew away my expectations. It ’s light, handy, and the grip of the knife is very comfortable, even with the slim minimalist scales. I love the blade profile, and the knife is the perfect length as something between a pocket folder and a full- blown hunting/survival knife. I like the sheath, but I think the universal clip is a bit finicky, and doesn ’ t grip the belt well. I think a utiliclip might have been a better choice. But overall, love it, and if they make it in a different color( orange, perhaps?) I might even buy a second one!

Had the knife about a month now. Amazing so far all around with durability and blade retention. I 'll be buying friends some soon. Only `` fault '' would be the hook up point for the sheath. Not a fan of that one. Had to lock tite it 2 weeks after the wife came in. Decided to unscrew its self.

Found this fixed blade at a really good discount, so I bought it for myself. Great sturdy knife very sharp blade steel. It's a bit larger and thicker than the Ether FX which I also have. I have n't decided which paracord wrap I 'm going to go with that's the next step. This will be a very functional knife in my collection and I will find many opportunities to use it.
$44.99
Good value, the steel holds up very well to learner use and if they strike each other as one gets better they resist damage. ... I do n't just use this as a throwing knife, its also a great knife for everyday

6 months of hard non- stop use. Own two sets, mine and my 12 year old son. I am a knife thrower( not professional) and I 'm finally happy with a production knife. Very well balanced, good weight ratio for length. The length is perfect and is now allowed in most knife competitions. Shape and cut out is perfect for many different types of throws. Comes factory sharp. Had students for 9 weeks use these knives and had no issues. No issues with breakage at all, not even a tip. Paracord can easy be heated at the roll under part to keep from coming off. Did this to all knives and no issues. Rolled edge, yes but only when throwing and stacking the blades. However we use a 3 target system so this is a non- factor. FYI, have over 400 hours on one set of knives

This is one of my favorite knives, starting back when the handle cutout said `` SOG ''. But to be honest my reason for liking them is as a multi use tool and not a strict throwing knife. I have 4 sets. I have one on a vest set up. I keep one in the car. I keep one in the safe, it is new and just waiting to be purposed. The other I have split up the set on have them on/in various running, hiking, fishing packs. It's a knife you could use for utility purposes, as a spear tip, as a defense weapon, and heaven forbid the need arose you could throw it. I only wish they made a kydex type, multi- carry/active sheath for it as the set I broke up I 'm just using repurposed sheaths from other knives. For those who say they do n't like them breaking when they throw them I merely say practice. Hint: set up multiple targets instead of one. It makes for better play. Throwing is n't necessarily the skill where you need spectators cheering `` nice grouping ''.

These throwing knives are awesome the size of regular edc knives come very sharp and i was impressed with how balanced they are. If you like throwing knives i recommend these for the fact they are normal sized and very durable. The only thing i didnt like was the handles are wraped with paracord and it comes loose very fast. To fix the paracord i just rewrapped and put a good knot at the end and burnt it with my lighter problem fixed hasnt come loose so far.

Stainless steel knives are known for their durability and resistance to rust and corrosion, making them ideal for various cutting tasks. They maintain sharpness well and are easy to clean, which enhances their usability in both kitchen and outdoor settings. Additionally, stainless steel offers a sleek appearance that many find appealing.
Compared to knives made from carbon steel or ceramic, stainless steel knives offer a good balance of sharpness, durability, and maintenance. While carbon steel can achieve a sharper edge, it requires more care to prevent rust. Ceramic knives are lightweight and maintain sharpness longer but can be more brittle. Stainless steel provides a versatile option suitable for everyday use.
Stainless steel knives are versatile and can be used for a variety of tasks, including slicing, dicing, and filleting. They are commonly used in both culinary settings and outdoor activities, such as camping or fishing. Their robust construction makes them suitable for both precision cutting and heavier-duty tasks.
Yes, stainless steel knives come in various styles, each designed for specific tasks. Common styles include chef's knives, paring knives, and fillet knives, each with unique blade shapes and sizes. Additionally, there are folding knives and fixed-blade options, catering to different preferences and uses.
To maintain the longevity of your stainless steel knife, it's important to clean it after each use to prevent food residue buildup. Regular honing helps maintain the edge, while occasional sharpening ensures optimal performance. Storing the knife properly, such as in a knife block or sheath, can also prevent damage to the blade.
