The first thing you notice when you put this together is that it is near commercial grade. It even allows you to bolt it to the floor if you want to make it more solid. I did not bolt it down, and it is still very sturdy. Solid feeling. The other great thing is that I am 6' 5 '' and the height for the chin up bar is perfect. My wife is 5' 4 '' and can not reach it, but she uses her stepper, but not much. She mostly uses it for tricep dips. The only small complaint I have is the chin up bar does n't feel as solid as the rest of the unit, probably because it's held in with a single bolt? I think a square tube instead of round might have allowed for a more solid connection up top. Either way, for the money you are getting near commercial grade equipment( some might argue this is commercial grade)!!

This is a great gym for the price. Everything functions smooth and quiet. Fits nicely in a small corner( 27 inches of the side wall and 3 inches off the back wall). Assembly took about 4 hours but the instructions are well done and easy to follow. Instructions recommend two people work together but I was able to assemble it alone with no major problem. I just received this Body- Solid Leverage Squat machine Wednesday. It only took two days to be delivered. It comes in two boxes. One is long, contains the main frame pieces, and weighs around 100lbs. The other is fairly square and weighs around 70lbs. It took a number of hours to assemble, made worse by the minimalist instructions. All that is provided are parts and hardware lists, and blow ups of the parts and what goes where. I 'm used to having many different pages, with each focusing on a few areas at a time. It is what it is. With that being said, once together, this thing is built like a tank. It is an absolute blast to do correct form and safe squats on this gem. The value for the money is off the charts. I highly recommend this piece for anyone's home gym. Pure excellence.

This is a great machine! It's solid and high quality, and it has enough exercise options to let me mix it up. Doing the same 5 or 6 lifts every time gets old, and it's not ideal for training. The Centr 3 allows me to hit each muscle group in multiple ways so my workouts do n't stagnate. The Smith bar is my favorite aspect of the machine. I suffered some spinal injuries several years ago, and that has really limited my ability to keep fit and mobile. In particular, squats were out of the question. My legs still have some good strength, but I have nerve damage that compromises my ability to stabilize the lift. With the Centr 3, I can rely on the mechanical stability of the Smith bar, allowing me to start reversing the muscle loss from years of `` taking it easy. '' I know I 'll never be as strong as I was before my injuries, but with Centr in my corner, I 'll be a heck of a lot closer!

Since I live locally, I was able to just drive up and pick it up myself. The build took me about 2 hours and overall it is high quality and very sturdy. It does n't wobble when I lift or do pull- ups and the optional Lat Pulldown attachment I ordered works great. My one gripe would be the. 8 inch holes that are drilled into the 2X2 tubing. Most standard accessories use 1 inch holes, so I 'll have to wait for Sunny Fitness to release additional attachments( dip bars, landmine, etc.) in the future in order to get more out of the product. _x000D_ _x000D_ Still, it's a great piece of equipment for the price.

Pretty good biceps/triceps machine. Its not too big and bulky compared to others. It arrived real quickly, and was fairly easy to put together, although the directions are somewhat vague. Good quality. Make sure you have 1 inch weights, not 2 inch.

I agree with everything PatrickM stated in his review. I can only add, you have to purchase the barbell clamp collars separately, but you do n't need them, just good to have. And of course you have to supply the barbells. I was missing a couple of small parts and Customer Service was very helpful and sent without question or charge. The unit is fairly heavy duty for the price. Even without any written instructions, you can easily put it together with the parts schematic. Not really an issue, but would be better with instructions.

I purchased this machine for my home gym. It came extremely well packaged with foam wrapping to protect the finish. Assembly took about 1 hour. Instructions were basically parts diagrams but if you are fairly mechanical you can assemble. For the non- mechanically incline it may be a bit of a struggle. I was super impressed to find a glass bottle of touch up paint included. During assembly I found out that the end caps that go where the leg pads are were missing. I called the customer service number about 5 PM and I was connected to a US customer support rep. He was very friendly and had two new caps in the mail to me, no questions asked, within 5 minutes. This netted major bonus points for Powerline/Body Solid with me. Pros: 1. Good quality tubing and finish. 2. The company has GREAT US customer support. 3. A really nice lat bar with padding and a shorter bar for lower rows. 4. The company cares enough about its product to send a bottle of touch up paintNegatives: 1. I wish there were weight plate storage pegs. I 've discovered that plate storage is a big advantage. 2. The leg pads have two levels of mounting holes. The top was the best for me but leg support is a bit awkward but secure. 3. The machine can slide when doing rows but a rubber pad and/or weight negates this. 4. The clips are a bit small for the two bars and the bars require a bit of finesse to attach. 5. No written assembly directions. In conclusion this machine would be great for any home gym. While the machine has some negative attributes, the positives far outweigh them. Novice through intermediate use would be appropriate for this machine. It's not gym quality although you would pay much more for a commercial level machine.

This is a much sturdier piece of equipment than expected and very comfortable to use. And these cords are not just for looks, Folks. They provide a surprisingly good workout. If you have limited space, you 'll find it fits nicely into a corner and is light weight enough to easily move out for use. And last, but not least, is the ease of getting on and off the bike. If you have short legs or have difficulty stepping up and over to get on a regular exercise bike, this is the bike for you. I highly recommend it.
