This is a cheap and simple way to add some safety to your climbing. I bought this originally to give my parents some peace of mind but after my girlfriend dropped a quickdraw on my noggin I was happy I had it. It's light, fits and breathes well, even on the hottest of days, while being fully adjustable to fit with or without a skull cap. About the only thing that it falls short on is the straps are shorter than I 'd like, such that I only have about an inch of strap beyond the buckle and would prefer to see another 1- 2 inches for better adjustability. [ Got this for my daughter who is just starting to pick up sports. She wanted something other than the dull dark blue school helmets and this one did the trick. It's sharp- looking and fits her needs. The most important part as far as I 'm concerned is the protection. The pads inside give her plenty of cushion and protection from impacts and the entire helmet seems to be very strong and sturdy. The face mask seems to do what it needs to do, it's nice becuase it's thin so it does n't get in the way but it's strong enough to stop that ball. Overall very satisfied with this product and my daughter is too, I would highly recommend it.

Great helmet, covers enough to protect my head( I 've had 4 concussions) yet it's not huge, I 'm a small so less is more. I really like the built- in sunglasses however it's really hard to wipe your sweat above the brow and when you blow your nose it sprays inside the lens( LOL). I 'm a triathlete so I 'm on the bike for several hours during a race and it's nice to be able to do those things.
