OMG I CAN NOT say enough about these boots.... I will be ordering them in all 3 colors. I had yet to find a hiking boot that didnt cause me foot pain, blisters, or hot spots.... until now. I live in a cold and icy place. I was needing a boot that I did n't need to lace up, kept my toes a bit more warm, and had traction. This boot is that! I previously was wearing my blundstones but on- 20 F nights I just was n't having it anymore! I 've now been wearing these Bogs for a few weeks and in( almost) all sorts of condition. They were definitely a bit stiff the first 2 weeks I 'd say. But now my foot easily slips in and out of the shoe. I noticed a little bit of rubbing on my ankle in those first two weeks but that has gone away. I have high arches and usually put some inserts into my shoes. I tried that for a bit with these and found it to be a little tight. They are comfortable without the inserts but I might try again in the future once they are completely broken in. Overall, happy with my purchase! I have only kind of slipped on the ice once- which is great great improvement from before! Woohoo!

I bought these to wear for myself as an adult. I have small feet and the children's sizes are significantly less expensive than the adult ones. These also have a lower temperature rating than the adult sizes for keeping your feet warmer. I have had a few times where the snow was deep enough it got into the holes on the sides used to help pull up the boot. As an adult, I would prefer those not be there. However, for a small child who may need help getting dressed, they seem to make sense. I have walked long distances in them pretty comfortably. I like that they can be tightened, but fit snug enough to use as a slip on boot. My only complaint is that they are not attractive for an adult woman( Again, they are designed for kids!) and that the tread on the bottom could be a little meatier. I would and have recommended them to others.

I have flat arches and over pronating hind feet so I was thrilled my orthotics fit in place of the company made insoles. There is arch support in the Tivoli Resort that is comparable to that in Tivoli. The higher platform and deep tread is ideal for the snowy slushy winter terrain. The insulation works perfectly even in below 10 degree weather with windy conditions. The higher top and faux help keep the ankle to calf part of lower leg protected and warm. I ’ m even comfortable in them for an 8- hour shift in retail involving going up and down ladders. Highly recommend for women with C width feet( wider than typical but not quite wide.). I ’ m able to wear thick socks so it might work for someone wide footed as well.

I needed waterproof lightweight AND comfortable walking boots for my trip to Ireland in October. After doing a bunch of research, I noticed SOREL kept coming up. I find that many waterproof boots are uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time, esp. when walking long distances as I ’ m used to getting 16, 000- 25, 000 steps/day come rain or shine. All of the reviews for this boot kept talking about how comfy these shoes are and how well they hold up to the weather. I am THRILLED I decided to go for it. They live up to ALL the hype as far as comfortably, fit, easy to get on and off without a lot of fuss like other laced boots, grip and warmth. I can ’ t speak to dryness as I haven ’ t worn them in the rain or snow yet, but I ’ m sure they will be fine. They do run true to size, however if you use an insert like Dr Scholls, you should go up a half size. I ’ m normally a 10, but brought the 10. 5 to make sure I had room enough for my Plantar Fasciitis insert and a good sock. The 10. 5 is a perfect fit. I also love how stylish these are- can be dressed up or down. If you ’ re on the fence about this purchase don ’ t wait a moment longer.

I ’ m a hairstylist and on my feet basically 24/7, I actually wear these to work pretty often bc they ’ re so comfortable( with my specialty inserts for super high arches) and they are awesome!
