Where I live( Washington DC) we do n't get crazy amounts of snow, but we will have the occasional winter storm and get 6- 10 inches or so. I needed a boot to keep my feet warm and dry when I walk my dog, run errands, etc. But I did n't need super heavy duty boot to shovel snow in. I chose this because I liked that the shaft was n't too high, so I could still wear it with most of my pants. We just had a winter storm. The snow was deep enough that it covered my entire boot and yet they kept my feet SUPER warm and I did n't feel slippery when walking on ice. The waterproof material kept my feet dry, and they are also SUPER CUTE! I am a true 7. 5( according to the size chart; my feet are 24 cm), but I still ordered a size 8 based on reviews saying it ran small, and I think I made the right decision. I think if I ordered my exact size I would n't have room to wear thick socks.

If you get the fit right, they do n't pull your socks down when you walk. Very good for walking unlink the tradition tall boots. When I was looking for a new pair of mucks I bought these and I did n't realize they were UL listed. In my type of work that is HUGE to have. Definitely worth getting 👌🏼

Love everything about them. Were a little snug in the foot portion of the boot when wearing thicker winter socks. I suggest getting a half size up if possible

I purchased these in NY 4 years ago for outside electrical work and I still wear them in OH for the same outside electrical in the cold wet fields. Best boot I 've worn for this environment.

Very good boots. I'ma Safety& Risk Management Consultant& travel to& walk multiple construction sites. These keep my pants clean below knees,& socks/feet dry from all the mud/standing water I encounter. Very comfortable& also good traction in mud& on wet/slick surface. I purchased the wide calf because of the adjustable feature because it can close down to same diameter as regular calf, but can be loosened to allow for much easier time putting on& removing
