I prefer water rowers to any type of rower. You can fill it as much as you like for a strong or light resistance. I keep mine on the lower end so I can row for 15 minutes. Easy to move you lift up the front and you can push it anywhere with the wheels on the back. I pull it out into the sun and other days I keep it in the garage.

We assembled it quickly and easily( we are NOT handy people) and it works very well. I 'm a beginner so I ca n't comment on the display- I 'm just trying to burn calories, not race. I like the fact that it's higher than other water rowers because I have lower back issues, so the fact that it's a bit higher, and also that the back/seat is higher than the feet seems to alleviate stress on my lower back. The only `` surprise '' was that it is a bit noisier than other water rowers BUT I think that's because of the tilt of the tank. That said, I think the tilt makes for a better workout because it seems like you 're pulling the propellers through more water( pooled at the bottom of the tank) than you would be with the same amount of water in a flat tank. Frankly, when I tested the flat/level tank it felt `` too easy '' for me. Yes, I know it's about how fast I pull, but I like the additional resistance. It's not so much that it's noisy as that I ca n't watch/listen to anything unless I make it loud. My husband said you barely hear it in the rest of the house. I just wear earbuds so I can listen. One other thing to note: even though you can put an iPad on the lip of the display, you have to be sure to tilt it backwards a bit so the display does n't flop forward from the weight. Last, but not least, you ca n't beat the price( and nominal delivery charge) and availability. It arrived within a few days of ordering it. Great purchase!

these are great for a good pool work out. they are a bit `` heavy ''( more floatation) but you can use slower movements or keep them more shallow for less of resistance, and move them faster or push them further under water( or do both actions at the same time) for more resistance. they seem to be holding up well so far but I have not had them for very long. hopefully they will continue to hold up in my 3 times a week hour long pool class at the gym.

[ I ’ ve really been loving working out with this set in my pool! I prefer it to my gym workouts because it ’s so refreshing. First, it comes with a waterproof instruction manual that ’s loaded with workouts and how to properly use the equipment, and a flotation belt- a good flotation belt can additionally be used for snorkeling, relaxing and floating in the pool, or in this case, for support while working out. It provides extra buoyancy, supporting your torso, to keep you stable and vertical in the water. This floatation belt has a really long adjustable strap and buckle, and fit both me and my partner when adjusted correctly, and had no issue keeping us afloat when we each tried it. It is also very comfortable! It did not snag on our bathing suits. The webbed gloves fit me very well and have an adjustable Velcro strap to lock them down in place. They ’ re for adding resistance while working out your upper body with the dumbbells. The dumbbells are very light out of the water, as they ’ re foam, and very portable! It was easy taking them to and from the pool in between workouts. I really enjoyed using the dumbbells underwater! It ’s a fun yet relaxing workout. This is my first rower so I appreciate the larger seat as I am still working on getting comfortable and consistent form. It glides so easily and is relatively quiet that I can watch tv simultaneously. My husband said it was more comfortable than our recumbent bike. They convinced me with this product, since then I also have bought their Foray rain jacket, which is awesome.
