I recently purchased the 35 hard cooler to use in my car when I day hike and fish. I just put it to the test on a float fishing trip where the outside air temperature reached 91 degrees. I intentionally left the cooler in my car with some food and drinks to test how well it would withstand the heat. The cooler has a small ice bag and one Yeti slim ice pack. When I returned from the fishing trip after having the cooler in my hot car for 10+ hours, the food and drinks were still cold. Along with outstanding performance, the cooler was a one man lift when completely loaded and it's compact enough to fit in a back seat of a car if needed. Definitely worth it!

Example is the back of a Honda Odyssey…yes, I ’ m a dad with kids and dogs and one day I ’ ll have a rad car again, but until then I ’ ll settle on having a rad Yeti. But reality is, this fits perfectly behind the third row in the trunk space. Adds a nice spot for the kid to sit when the trunk is open as well. It is heavy on its own, must have a minimum of 3 years dad strength to lift this thing when full. Kids love it, it ’s a sticker magnet for them( and me). Only negative for me is single strap isn ’ t great for riding on a bike, but I don ’ t think that ’s the intention of the product. Roll top is great.
