Red Wings Heritage Classic Moc are THEE best boots. I now own 4 pairs and they are so comfortable. Yes, they are hard in the beginning but over time they soften and mold to your feet. I love the extra inch on the bottom because I am short which is very helpful. I wear them pretty much everyday and I am on my feet for 10- 12 hours a day. I work in the restaurant industry and I am in and out checking on the stores. These boots are always dirty with grease& food stains but nothing like a little wet rag and polish to make them brand new again. Just sent in my oldest pair to get re- soled and currently rotating with the other three with my daily use. My only complaint is how dirty the soles get. This was my first pair of mid hikers( I prefer ankle height) but I immediately loved how comfortable these boots felt when I tried them on. I bought them for a trip to Sri Lanka, and my first hike with them ended up being an all- day 8- mile trek in the rain forest – I didn ’ t know this going into the hike or I might have worn my broken- in boots instead! But these were sooooo comfortable and kept my feet happy all day. I wore them several times over the next couple weeks and every time was so happy I had decided on these boots. Also, I like that they are feminine without being too girly. Can ’ t wait to take them to Portugal next month!

Fit perfectly from day 1 and I used them for hiking, ordinary wear around town, and even to a casual restaurant dinner. Got many compliments along the way. I was very satisfied with its performance. I used it in Norway, and it was completely waterproof. However, since there is a small gap at the top, I ’ d recommend wearing waterproof trousers over it to prevent water from getting in. Also, I suggest ordering one size up. I went half a size up, which was fine, but it felt a bit tight with thick winter socks. That said, the boots are already very warm on their own. I only needed extra layers because I was in- 6°C weather.

Have always loved Sorel boots and needed a new boot with good traction because my arches have fallen and feet have spread. Over the years the boots have gone from being roomy in the toe area to more narrow and fashion oriented. I was afraid this boot wouldn ’ t be wide enough in the toe box to accommodate my bad bunions. This boot worked well with a little bit of stretching in the forefoot. It looks like it might be heavy to walk in but I didn ’ t find that at all. I was feeling a little silly getting a pair of these so late in the season but with our snowstorm in Western NY this weekend, I 'm super glad! My feet stay really warm and cozy and when i brush off my car, the snow does not get down into my boots. Absolutely love them and hope they last for many years. Seem to be waterproof and they are very comfortable. They do not squeak like my last pair of On so that is a big plug! Able to wear them traveling all day and be comfortable but they do make my feet sweat a lot. The green color is nice but impossible to keep clean. There is a mesh layer that dust and trail grime gets into and then you can ’ t get it out. I ’ ve scrubbed and soaked and they never come clean.
