I was looking for a small backpack that I could use when I walk or bike into town( about a mile) that would be big enough to hold small items I might purchase in addition to my wallet, phone and a bottle of water. This bag is perfect! It ’s lightweight, comfortable, big enough that it has a sleeve to hold an iPad. I used it a lot this summer at my kids ’ baseball games. When they warm up for their game I ’ d go for a walk. I needed something bigger than my Lululemon belt bag to hold an extra layer like a long sleeve shirt. I use this bag all the time!

I have this as a backpack and I love it. I am still in high school and I honestly could n't want a better bag. In my opinion it is a little small for all the stuff I had but not too bad. I love the look of it, the skinny cute bag is so nice and i love the light blue on gray. The side pockets are a bit small for all water bottles but most of the time i do n't have a hard time pushing my bottles in. The wire on the side though makes it hard sometimes but u just have to make sure you press down and not out.

I was looking for a backpack that would be big enough to replace a carry on bag, but small enough to carry daily while out exploring when traveling. This is the perfect size. The storage pockets and divided interior makes it easy to stay organized when on the go. I am incredibly happy with this purchase.

Spent three months backpacking in Europe upon my retirement, at age 65, with this wonderful Osprey backpack! We traveled in all kinds of weather and used all modes of transportation! Also, have been backcountry camping in Canada, California, and Colorado! She still looks new after a busy 10 years on and off the trails! I 've had this pack since 2006. It 's been on many adventures with me, from backpacking in Canyonlands to training hikes in Teluride to travel through Taiwan. For several years, I used this bag for grocery shopping and going to the laundry mat, when it was often 70 pounds. It 's so comfortable that even fully loaded, I can easily dance while wearing it. This pack has survived bear attacks, rain storms, deserts, baggage handlers, and having its capacity tested endlessly. After 15 years, I 've noticed the first sign of wear- a small tear in a seam. I 'm happy with the longevity of the product, and I 'm heartened that I can send it to Osprey for a professional- level repair for just the cost of one- way shipping. The All Mighty Guarantee is one reason I 'm so loyal to Osprey- they did a fantastic job repairing bear damage, and they quickly sent me a set of replacement buckles after I damaged one of mine. I love how comfortable the hip belt and harness are, partly thanks to the high degree of adjustability. If it every gets lost or stolen, I will happily buy the same bag. I barely notice my bag while I 'm hiking, meanwhile my hiking buddies complain about how uncomfortable their similarly priced non- Osprey packs are, or say how happy they are to get them off. I do n't mind how the weight gets divided on group trips, because I know my pack can handle adding on the tent, carrying more than my share of food, and having a few liters of extra water. If you 're looking for a comfortable bag that you can use in a range of circumstances for decades to come, look no further than the Osprey Ariel.

[ I purchased this after having a bad experience with a different pack of a different brand. I am 5 ’ 5 ” and weigh about 116 pounds. I am a bit short waisted too and I thought the pack fit my frame perfectly. No weird rubbing on my lower back after a 31 mile backpacking trip. Lots of space and convenient pockets. Super functional and can ’ t recommend enough!

[ This pack meets almost all my expectations and hopes! I love the suspension system the most. My pack feels like a hug! I appreciate the choice of removing the “ brain ” to save weight. The hip belt is comfortable. My only issue is with the shoulder straps. Over many hours on the trail, I notice that the straps do not sit completely comfortably around the front of my shoulders. That said, this is still my favorite pack out there!

[ I like this pack a lot- out of the packaging I feel like it was really stiff and side pockets were almost unusable but after a week of using could easily get water bottles in and out without taking pack off. Hip belt pockets are a nice size but definitely a design flaw with the zipper and they are a pain to open and close. Overall super comfy pack and durable.

I have used the Eja 48 model before this one. There are things I like more about this new model and things I like less. Here is my comparison: Pros for new model: Not as wide as the old one. Side pockets, however they are really hard to zip after you open them while wearing the pack. Shoulder adjustments are really nice. The hip belt is positioned absolutely perfect, likely due to the adjustable shoulder straps. This pack feels more sturdy and well built. Cons for new model: The shoulder straps are not nearly as padded and comfortable. The side pockets are not as large on the new model. I feel like I ca n't fit as much into this pack. I do like this new model very much but all in all I think that the old model is a bit more comfortable for me. I will keep and continue to use this one and hopefully I will become more used to the differences and come to love this one as much as the old one. This new pack fits well and feels balanced. None of the cons I mentioned are a deal breaker for me. A lot of thought has gone into this design and I appreciate it!

I did n't understand the significance of a female- specific pack until I got this one-- I had been using a 75L+ unisex/ male pack for 10+ years and it always felt just a little off. The first time putting this one on, fully loaded, for a 5 day backpacking trip, I realized what a game- changer it was. Originally I was concerned going down in size by 5L, but all the pockets and stash points make up for it. It packs much better than my previous pack and the weight is distributed better and sits on my hips more comfortably. Definitely recommend!

Bought this pack for a short backpacking trip on the Napali Coast. I have lower back pain so I needed a pack that distributed the weight very well. My pack was about 30- 35lbs and I made it the entire trip without any pain or even soreness in my low back. It was quite incredible considering the many elevation changes- I 'm definitely impressed. I will say that toward the end on our hike out my shoulders began to cramp up so I had to do some adjusting to the straps but I think it 's just I did n't have it set right. I have two other Osprey packs and love the women- specific features. I bought this Sirrus for casual hiking and walking to town for groceries and other supplies. I got the right fit after watching a Youtube that showed that the hipbelt pad in front should be centered over the pelvic bone- not above it as I had incorrectly done. The torso adjustment `` ladder '' is a nice feature. I am 5' 7 '' and measured my torso at 15. 6 '', and found the second shortest adjustment to work the best at keeping the shoulder straps from riding up. This is really a comfortable and well fitting pack for me.

I have been using Fjällräven backpacks for a long time now. I decided to splurge and get one for my daughter 's first day of Kindergarten. [ This is a cool backpack. I like the slash resistant bottom for thwarting would- be thrives. The green interior helps when searching for stuff inside. Lots of pockets, sturdy zippers, solid straps. I would rather a metal ring where the backpack starps clip to instead of the canvas loop, but hey, so far it 's holding. I may just throw my own on there... This does n't have to be a ladies only bag. Mine works as a backpack and a messenger bag. I can put all sorts of stuff in it, though I typically keep my glasses, Chromebook, wallet, keys, phone, and associated tech stuff in it. Anyway, who really cares. It works well.

Great backpack! Took this all through Europe and on multiple flights. Lots of pockets and very comfortable! I can ’ t recommend this enough! I was able to pack a lot more than needed. So much room!

I love this pack! I finally upgraded after years of indecision and I could n't be happier with the Jade 63. I used Gregory 's size calculator to pick my size and took her out on her maiden voyage. The pack felt comfortable around my hips and shoulders and distributed the weight perfectly for a highly supportive feel. If you are in the market for a pack that fits well, moves with you, and holds everything you need for a big adventure, I recommend the Jade 63!

Was excited to try this bag out from the moment they announced it. Even more excited to use it now that I own it. I threw a 15 lbs kettle ball in to test it and it does well to distribute that weight. The tension I usually feel on my shoulders was minimal to nonexistent. There is so much space to utilize in the bag and even more with its ability to expand. Perfect bag for the gym and for my travel plans

[ Have only taken this pack on one trek so far but it was great. Very comfortable and distributes weight nicely. I love how convient it is to access the inside of the pack with the front pouch. Only complaint is the water bottle pocket- it ’s very difficult to get a 1. 5 liter Nalgene in and out when the pack is full.

Jem J.
Just got this pack as a replacement for my very old and trusted Arial 75. Despite being a guy I got the women 's as my last one was a women 's and it fit me so well. I am 5' 7 '' '' and 155#. Super comfortable and easy to adjust. I have just used it so far for day backcountry skiing. It easily synched down to a small size and was narrow with no wobble for skiing in the trees. Lots of pockets, I especially like the double pockets in the lid for sorting small stuff.

[ Bought this a few weeks ago for a backpacking trip to Olympic National Park and it ’s been great so far! I ’ m a 5 ’ 9 ” woman with athletic/curvy build. Thoughtful compartments, detachable smaller pack, built in rain cover, and seems pretty lightweight to me. I love the green color of the pack and the neon green color of the rain cover. My other pack is a 45 Osprey from 4 years ago and this frame seems more supportive/better padded.

[ This pack was a long day hike upgrade for me and I chose it for 2 reasons. First was the Airspeed suspension which definitely keeps your back cool. Second was longer torso length. Along with all of the compression straps this a very comfortable and balanced pack. The stuff it pocket was an afterthought but is actually very handy. Extremely pleased with this purchase!

` I am a 50 year old occasional hiker who has n't had a new pack since college. Just spent 3 days hiking in the Catskills with this pack on my back for 7- 8 hours a day and I love it. Plenty of space and super comfortable. I barely noticed I was even carrying a pack, had zero shoulder or back strain, and like the frame that allows for some airflow through the back area- a big plus hiking in 80+ degree weather. Never had to use the internal rainfly, but that was definitely a selling point for me. Highly recommend!
5
Amanda L.
[ I love this pack. I bought it to replace an older osprey pack that I completely wore out. I love the rigid stays on this backpack so that it sits upright when you put it on the ground and the air pocket helps keep it much cooler, a total bonus when you 're hiking in the hot and humid Smokies.

[ I got the Daylite Plus to act as a compliment to my Farpoint 40 for travel. I 'm really pleased with how it can attach on the Farpoint despite not being the Farpoint- specific daypack, because this gives me a daypack with a bit more space. The main compartment holds a surprising amount of stuff for its size, and the bag is really comfortable to wear and carry. It worked really well being carried through the airport and also serving as a daybag for both around the city and campground camping. The colors are really vibrant too, which makes it look sleek and stylish. I also really appreciated how the service was quick and easy from ordering to delivery.

This is a really large backpack with many compartments and quite a bit of adjustability. I was really impressed with how light this was compared to it 's size. Lots of padding on the straps, and quite a few handles to lift it when you are n't wearing it. Overall I 'm very impressed.

[ I bought this backpack for my niece. It 's good quality for a day backpack. Looks and feels nice. It is not too small and it is not too big. It can hold things for a day trip. It 's too small for overnight or camping and unless you are only bringing a few things, it is too small for carry- on, but perfect for walking in around a park, zoo, amusement park, day- time hike. If you give this to someone, I recommend filling a bag with air and putting it inside to make a better presentation as it ships rather flat.

This is a great pack for both car and airline travel. I pack smart with packing compressors packing cubes but I wouldn ’ t say I pack light and I had plenty of space. The waist belt allows me to comfortably carry this pack through the airport. The straps stow easily and it fits in the overhead bin.

[ This backpack is great for traveling, especially on a flight. The adjustable straps make it a perfect companion for your back if you ’ re like me and can never find a perfect fit in packs. The straps can be hidden with a zippable cover that is stowed away in a pocket at the bottom of the pack as well. My favorite part of this bag is that the hip belt is durable and comfortable so it makes carrying it easy.
