I just purchased these sneakers and I am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these shoes are. I have never had any safety toe shoe or boot be this comfortable. I also like the fact that you can slip them on and off without having to tie and untie them every time, which is super convenient for the application for where I am wearing them. When I first got them out of the box they felt heavy but when they are on your feet they are not heavy at all but like wearing regular sneakers with the benefit of the safety toe. I am more than pleased with the purchase of these shoes and I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring a safety toe shoe in their work application especially if you do a lot of walking and comfort is something you are also looking for.

I ordered Oxford dress shoes I saw my order confirmed for Oxford PTC. I liked how the PTC looked so I did not complain about it. When I get new shoe I usually have to buy a thicker foam insoles. I had to do that with this pair of shoes as well. I like how well I can walk all day in these shoes. Usually I buy hard toe shoes, but I am experimenting with the bumper toe. I already slammed my toes into a cart wheel, the bumper toe protected my toes, no pain. I am a nurse, moving fast, making turns. These shoes stay on and perform very well.

The shoes are well made and I can already tell they will be very durable in a greasy, dirty environment.( Transmission mechanic). The oil resistant does have a more open tread pattern so they wo n't collect the oil and dirt and cake up with it. However, these are not what I would call comfortable. The leather on the upper is very stiff and hard on your feet, the insoles are kind of hard. They are getting better as I break them in, but still not great. I 'm not sure I would buy a second pair after this one.

These are the most comfortable work boots I 've ever had. I 've been wearing Timberland Pro's for the last 8 years but decided it was time for a change because there is n't enough protection from corn formation. With these I do n't feel rubbing on the top of my feet. The cushioned wedge makes it easier to be on my feet for 8- 12 hour long days. The strings are light weight and do not dangle ridiculously long they 're perfect. The only thing I would love for them to add is a cushion barrier on the inside of the boot that wraps along the ankle. I 'm glad a made the switch to Carhartt for working boots and use Timberland for what they 're known best for, just fashion. Thank you from a proud hardworking Detroiter.

I got these 2 years ago and yesterday I was at the beach with my wife. I wore these boots to the Santa Monica beach in CA. Before you ask, I hate sandals and shorts, I will not wear them. As I walked with my wife by the shore, I avoided the waves because I did not want my boots to get wet. Well, my wife was enjoying the ocean water when she thought it would be funny to hold me in place as the wave hit my boots. They got wet and submerged to about the 6 '' mark. My feet were dry. I was confused and surprised, they did not let any ocean water in at all. So I figured, why not and I pushed it further, with about 3 second intervals of waves, they survived. Until the water went above the 8 inch height and then my socks got wet, which is understandable. So I wanted to write a review because it deserved a review because it did a great job preventing water from getting in. It was kind of fun to be honest but the salt is not great afterwards.

I have had these boots for 5 years. Humping through the snowy mountains of Vermont on the job. Taking them off and on tens of thousands of times in customers homes. They have gone under many houses, crawlspaces, and under porches. In knee walls and trenches. Put away so wet that my socks were soaked the next morning( step in knee high snow and any boot is gon na get wet). I 've only had to change the laces on one boot. All I ask is that my boots hold up to the abuse I put them through. I wore them untied during the summer even, and the backside of the inner heel has just started to wear through. Only on one side again! They are waterproof, durable, comfortable and dang if they do n't look good. I have n't even looked to buy a new boot since I got these and thank goodness I had n't rubbed off the tag yet. I hope they 're just as good 5 years later. Second pair of these boots. Wish they came in half sizes. We put an insert in them and they fit better though. Freest boot that fits snug to the calf without cutting off circulation. Important if you are weed whacking and don ’ t want a bunch of grass down your boot! Super comfy and keeps feet cooler than the cheap black boots. The size 10 felt snug out if the box with work socks but they broke in without problem( Redwing 9. 5) Good traction and stance on snow, ice and mud. Boots are very comfortable. Little to no break in time. They have a great arch support for when your standing for long hours. I have had them for a couple have held up through rain, mud, dust, dirt, snow. They are water proof. My feet we ’ re slightly damp standing in torrential down pours for my job but after what I was in I doubt any boot is that waterproof…. They are starting to wear out though. I mean I do put them through rough stuff but I don ’ t expect these to last 6 months in the toughest of conditions.

I 've tried Red Wing, Timberland, Wolverine... these boots are the only ones that hold up to the daily beating that I give them. I love how durable they are and how easy they are to clean. I only have 2 small complaints, but being the best boots I 've ever owned... Carhartt will still get a 5 star review. 1. The laces need replaced after roughly 3- 6 months of use because they get shredded under the duress of tying and tightening your laces daily. 2. Being waterproof comes in handy often, especially when working outside. But it does mean that if you have sweaty feet, it keeps the sweat in too. Not quite as `` breathable '' as I would want. But like I said, I 've never found a boot to do a better job. So it is what it is.

My fiancé got me the white for Christmas and I love them! They are almost waterproof and very comfy. I work at a dealership and I like having the nonslip feature with Carhartt quality. Please do n't get rid of these!!! Will be repurchasing:)

Great comfortable shoe. My fiancée( whom these were purchased for) is a schoolteacher and is on her feet all day, so comfort is key. I purchased the white ones for her and they are her favorite everyday shoe. Please NEVER discontinue these. WE love them and thank you for making casual footwear with the trademark Carhartt quality.

I ’ ve been wearing the Georgia Wedge over 15yrs now and prolly has become my one and only boot/shoe i wear with everything. Lol, went from Nike ’ s/Vans/Chucks to only Georgia wedge. I love them so much i have pairs for work and everyday wear. I ’ ve worked for the Water company where i live and not really being “ water proof ” i still wore them and they would hold up for 6 months or so. That ’s jumping on shovels, kicking stuff, underwater, asphalt and so forth… as well as the Natural gas field and seems to hold up better without constant water lol i ’ ve bought up to 6 pairs in a yr bcuz all the OT I was working, but i say all this to say i never had more compliments then this boot and i ’ ve worn every brand, the quality of leather is the best and i can walk in them all day. I think I ’ ll be buried in them. You think i ’ m lying ask my wife. Lol here ’s 2 i have in my garage wit 2 in my closet. Cant wait to try the “ waterproof ” wedge ones now for work!

I walk for miles in these boots for my job across all diff terrain types around the southeastern U. S. my first pair lasted me over 2 years before the inner heal wore out. They are so comfortable for me I wear them on every job, even sites where steel toes are n't required. My second pair started leaking at the seam after about 6 months and Muck handled the situation very professionally. Most everyone at my job uses Muck. They are high quality and comfort. Review from a 120lb female environmental consultant. Workware is often slim pickings for females, but these boots get the job done for anyone.

[ The boot is very nicely made and feels great. The steel toe caused a lot of rigidity on the boot which caused more heel sleep than I liked. I went ahead and got a version without the steel toe. I would recommend it if you need a steel toe but it just was n't for me even if it was a great product.
