Took these on a trip around the Colorado four pass loop. As is typical, we got caught in an afternoon storm at 10, 000 feet and suited up. Pants kept us dry from the rain and wete sufficiently breathable for 2 hours of rainy hiking. They are definitely pants to put on BEFORE it rains because the ankle zips do n't accommodate footwear too well. But I knew that going in. Overall a good running pant and I wouldn ’ t change a thing as they serve their purpose: a good jogging pant you can do other athletics in, roomy, comfortable, and so far durable. Good product.

They did n't rise up like others have before. The feel smooth and soft on the skin plus do n't restrict movement. I like that the pants have pockets for something like your phone or key fob. No real changes could be made. As is, these pants are a must for the occasional runner or the runner that loves to top their personal records.

After reading the reviews I ordered a size medium as reviews stated they were small sizing but I had to exchange for small as I found them too big, I am a size 8/10 but with curves and I found a small is perfect.

Maybe you are starting activities early in the morning when it's cold but will be out as it gets hot and want to remove the legs of your pants to have shorts instead. Or perhaps you are hiking and going up a mountain and know it will get much colder as you proceed, and will want to change from shorts to pants. These are comfy for any such activities. My only complaint is that I think these run a bit small. I wear a medium in most pants and shorts( including shorts from Marmot), but these are pretty tight on my curvier butt and legs.
