Bought these for a Colorado ski trip in January and put many miles on these pants in 4 days straight of skiing. For the price you can ’ t beat them. Only problem I had was the sizing. The waistband is adjustable to a point but the overall sizes available weren ’ t fitting right. Either a little too loose or a little too tight. We went with a little too loose for better flexibility in movements. I would definitely buy these again.

One of the best mountaineering pants you can get- durable, breathable, and yet still warm at any altitude. These are my go- to pants for many PNW mountain treks( Mt Adams, Middle Sister, Mt. Hood, etc). The fit is fairly true- to- size, but I would have expected a bit more stretch in the waist. I 'm usually a 32 in most clothing, and M's feel a bit tight. There's plenty of stretch in the legs which makes for easily climbing, but the waist can definitely be a bit annoying. It's not enough to take away from how great these are, but something to consider if you 're on the border of sizes.

Excellent for winter to cut the wind and retain heat. Had multiple deer come within 30 yds and jacket noise did not alert them. Used as a top layer with layering( and heated vest, socks, and gloves all on lowest setting) during a 12( F) degree morning, never got cold and didn ’ t feel the wind. It does not have pockets, which helps with retaining heat and one less thing to leak down the road, but I use a small pack to carry in. I do suggest breaking it in a bit. The ski pants is true to the size for very slim fit; I 'm 5'11 '', 140lbs, and I can fit a medium weight base layer legging into M size( if you stature is about the same, do n't go for L, it 'll be way too loose, almost like regular/goofy fit). The material is also fairly stretchy, unlike some more waterproof/hardcore surface. It's not insulated with down/etc. but it has an inner fleece and is relatively warm. The design is really good, if you are looking for something flattering and can show off your leg.

These are warmer than my North Face snoga pant and just as flattering. I can wear a think wool layer underneath on cold days. I find Roxy brand to run on the smaller size, so size up if you are unsure. I would say they are a juniors sizing not ladies. They are warm and water proof. They are 15K rated and waterproof gortex. As long as I keep them clean I will have them forever. I love the high waist. Was not sure if i wanted the pants or ski bibs but the high waist keeps snow out and ski bibs would be a hassle to take on and off to go to the bathroom where the pants just unzip. They are more slenderizing than most ski pants so I like that too! They were crazy expensive so I hope they last!
