[ I really enjoy this top. Not too thin and not too thick. My favorite on this top is the side pocket that can fit your phone, but won ’ t move around and cause your phone to fall out during a workout session. I also love that you have thumb holes in the top and can also fold the sleeves back on the top if it ’s too long. I ’ m more in between sizes right now( meaning too big for womens sizes but too small for plus size) but I had no issues with the fit of this top. This top fits true to size so if you ’ re looking for a fit where you can put a undershirt underneath, you could size up.( In my case, I ’ m normally an XL, but got a 1X). The material is really soft and doesn ’ t feel heavy. I only wore this top casually but I could tell with the material that you wouldn ’ t be too hot in it if working out. Being able to roll the sleeves up and adjust the zipper could help with the heat as well. The only thing I would probably change about this top, is possibly adding a zipper to the back of it to add in extra items you may be carrying when out and about.

Very well made flannel. It feels like thick vintage flannel from your Dad. Thinker than North Face Arroyo flannels. Reading other reviews, the size recommendations are all over the place… stick true to size. I am 6 ’ 0 ”, 170 lb with long armed canoeing/running build and bought a large in this( and wear a large across North Face and other brands of flannels). This Valley Twill fits very similar to the North Face Arroyo flannel… except this Valley Twill is about 1 ” shorter in the body. Compared to other flannels that I own this is slightly shorter in body… but everything else accurate. The Pike ’s Purple flannel color looks great and was half- off on Dick ’s website. Great value for thick flannel. Recommended.

This flannel is wonderful! The highest level gets hot very quick. It gets very cold where I live and this helps tremendously. I can wear a shirt under this and even a jacket over it and stay perfectly warm and toasty. The battery does n't get in the way or hold a lot of weight. Really great shirt: comfortable for hot days and nights. It gets only 4 stars by comparison with last year's Shade Lite shirt. This one has slightly heavier fabric, and seemingly, a tighter weave, so it does n't breathe as well. On the other hand, the new snaps are much easier to unsnap than last year's metal ones.( I sometimes wonder if I 'll rip the snap out of the Shade Lite before it disengages!)
