I use this for everything, hiking, concerts, walking the dog, etc. it can hold a surprising amount( 2 full water bottles+ keys and wallet) without feeling like a large pack. I alternate between wearing it on my hip and across chest. Very comfortable too. Love it.

The bag is bigger than I expected – not like most fanny packs, if that is what you are expecting. It can definitely hold a large phone or a standard sized plastic water bottle. I like that it has a little loop to hook keys on and pockets. It's also very well made, the material does n't feel cheap, and the stitching is clean.

Purchased for wife as a replacement for her purse. She's moved to hip packs due to the versatility in carrying styles and adjustability. This is the best one yet because of the look, size, and just- right amount of organization within the pack. The open pocket was odd at first, but we found that it's perfect for quick stashes of the phone and/or snacks. The very wide strap helps with distributing weight when shoulder- carrying. It seems bigger than the 2L stated capacity claims, and to be honest, she has n't fully utilized the pack to its fullest, but better to have the space than run out of it. Smaller frames might find this intimidating and awkward to use as a true hip pack, but should be fine when using it as a front or back sling. Overall an easy recommendation if you 're looking for a slightly larger pack and plan to occasionally use that open pocket.

Love this hip bag for its style, construction, and utility. The material seems durable and sturdy. Love the color combinations which is a trademark of Cotopaxi. Last but not least the many thoughtfully located pockets are so useful. Perfect pockets for my phone, keys, chapstick, cash, and even thin jacket or long sleeve shirt. I like that I can wear it around my waist or over my shoulder.
