I bought these boots for a long weekend trip to Providence, RI and Boston, MA. I wore them with thick wool socks and logged more than 5 miles each day running around the sights. They weee comfortable and warm. The temps dropped to 19 degrees with strong winds and even rain and my feet were dry and warm the whole time. However, since there is a small gap at the top, I ’ d recommend wearing waterproof trousers over it to prevent water from getting in. Also, I suggest ordering one size up. I have never, in my adult life, worn anything smaller than a 10 in any shoe( boot, sneaker, sandal, heel) but the size 10 in these was considerably larger than I could wear! [ I am happy with this purchase. They are lightweight, comfortable, run true to size, and in my experience waterproof. I used them in snow, heavy rain, and drizzle, and my feet stayed dry. I wore pants that covered them so that could be a reason why my feet stayed dry. Had I been wearing leggings I do not know if they work.

My qualifications for boots this year were 1. waterproof, 2. comfortable, 3. stylish. I walk to work and needed something that could get me there and back, and something that I could wear the whole day. These did the trick! One note- the first time I wore them, my feet were dry but the backs of my calves were soaked! I was flicking up water when I walked. I tried slowing down, and the 2nd wear did not make my legs wet!

I ’ m obsessed with these sneaker boots! They are so versatile! I ’ m a hairstylist and on my feet basically 24/7, I actually wear these to work pretty often bc they ’ re so comfortable( with my specialty inserts for super high arches) and they are awesome! I get tons of compliments all the time. They ’ re super light weight and not clunky like most boots. The best thing is that they ’ re warm enough for me to wear to the dog park when it ’s freezing( below zero here in Mn) but also not so hot that I can actually wear them all day at work inside. The traction has been amazing on snow and ice so far. Seriously, I ’ m obsessed with these boots, I just wish they had them in men ’s for my husband. I typically wear a size 8/8. 5 in most shoes, but I always wear a 9 in sorel. I also love the wide toe box, which allows me to wear thick socks and not feel so tight like my other boots do. I honestly wouldn ’ t change a thing about these boots.
