If you get the fit right, they do n't pull your socks down when you walk. Very good for walking unlink the tradition tall boots. The boots are great! Handled spring time in Colorado so raining, ice, sleet and then snow all in one day. I mucked horse stalls and had very warm feet while doing that chore. Thanks SOREL for supplying me with work shoes! This is my fourth pair of Sorel boots. I have worn them for years. These shoes get beat up and worn out. I have gotten rid of one pair, a suede pair, because after years of being in the elements they were not looking very professional anymore- but the shoe was still holding up minus the, understandably, worn down tread on the ball of the foot. The Emelie can be slipped on and off! Totally love this feature in a bootie. I ’ m still breaking them in but the foot shape that Sorel uses fits my “ pizza ” feet well( thinner mid foot and slightly wider toe splay). I sized 1/2 down for the Emelie because the last pair of boots I bought broke in so well that they are a tad floppy now. The Emelie is surprisingly still a tad big with thin compression socks but will be fine once I switch to my winter compressions. Love adding this to my collection!

The wool blend of the lining is only 20% wool/ 80% other fibers but feels more plush and soft than similar Ugg boots which claims to have a higher wool content. She had struggled to find a pair that had a reasonable heel and were comfortable inside, but these were perfect. This is my 7th or 8th pair of Women's Arctic Weekend Mid Boot. It is the comfort, warmth and ease of slipping in and out of them at my door. They are authentic and I love them for that reason. These boots do n't pretend to be anything but what they are!! I love them! Classics

When purchasing this boot, I read a bunch of reviews. Some said the sole comes off after a week. I still reserve the right to edit this review however, my wife has been wearing them almost every day. They have kept her warm and dry. She says they are really comfortable and she loves them. Win win for me.

This is my second pair of these! My first pair lasted YEARS and I was happy to replace them. These are super comfy and water proof. Love being able to slip them on easily, go outside and not worry about puddles/mud, etc.

When it's super cold I wear my tall Arctic Ice boots. This mid height boot is the perfect in between choice. I have arthritis and thinner sole is easier to walk in.
