This hat is great! I 've owned it for about a year now and it has still held up very well in the Florida heat! Me and the family go on a yearly trip to Orlando and the amusement parks down there can get HOT in July! This hat is a great addition for daily wear for hours on end and tens of thousands of steps later on peak south Florida humid summer days. It does a great job keeping the sun out of the eyes, is very lightweight and breathable. No concerns if it gets wet in the pop up downpours, or you can purposely wet it and it can keep you cool that way as well. I strongly suggest pairing this with sunglasses and sunscreen as well, but this is probably one of the more important things to pack. If you plan on being outdoors in the summer heat and sun for hours on end, this is the one to keep a cool head per se! 5 stars very happy with this.

This is my second of these hats, I wear them every time I run. They are very well built and very breathable. Extremely durable with a comfortable fit, good wicking material( sweat pushed to brim and doesn ’ t drip down your face, I am an extremely sweaty person), and very good sun coverage. Bill works well with most sunglasses( I have large blocky costa Del Mar ’s that fit well under the brim). Only issue I have with it is the tab in the back can be hard to get out of the way due to the difficulty of feeding it back into the hat.

This hat is very comfortable and offers excellent sun protection. It is a smaller hat as in the headpiece is not deep like a trucker hat. I got a medium and it fits perfectly. Having a less deep headpiece makes it possible to wear sunglasses or over the ear earphones comfortably. The sun cape is attachable by to buttons. The adjustable chin strap allows you to keep sun protection even in windy conditions.

I love boonie hats, but the Sport Hat can keep out all angles of sunlight. It is feathery light on your head, but it is still rugged. This is my third one as others finally wore out or got damaged. This hat will stay in place in a strong wind if you cinch down the chin strap. I wear it kayaking on big expanses of water with no wind break. The L/XL hat fit me well. I got this hat because the brim is slightly smaller than my full on sun hat, so it ’s not as awkward to wear in the car or indoors, but still provides a good amount of sun protection. I got the goldenrod color, and it ’s a little darker in person, but still a cool color. I love to wear this hat around town or when we ’ re out on sunny days. It ’s very comfortable, and the brim holds its shape well. I don ’ t use it when I ’ m out gardening or mowing the lawn because I prefer my other Sunday afternoon sun hat that I can throw in the washing machine if it get dirty. So, this is my signature hat. I am a female fishing guide and it took me a long time to find the right hat. The Vivian is THAT hat. I am hard on my hats, so I 'll say I go through one of these hats every 2- 3 years. Things I love about this hat: The floppiness protects my face and neck from the sun, it's stylish and feminine, I can tighten the stampede strap when the wind kicks up. Things I do n't love: The stampede strap is leather and wears out over time. The bead wears the strap out and Sunday Afternoon have replaced the hat for me because of this, but with my last one, I ended up repairing it myself with a much stronger material. Also, when the hat gets a little wet, it smells like a horse.
