I bought the Oat Sunset Hat first, to wear while gardening and walking the dog. I live in NE FL and the sun can be brutal at times. Our duaghter and her husband took us on an* day Caribbean cruise right after Thanksgiving and I bought a 2nd Sunset hat, this time in Cinnamon, so she would have a good sun hat too. She preferred the lighter colored hat so I let her keep that one and I kept the cinnamon one. These hats can be shaped how ever you prefer them, but I like the sides rolled up like a `` western hat '' so I have good peripheral vision, especially when walking our pup. They traveled well strapped to a back pack and if they got a bit misshapen during transport they were easy to return to however you might prefer them. Very versatile and can be used in any number of scenarios. Thanks for a great product!

This hat is versatile and comfortable. Everyone should have an Outdoor Research Seattle Rain Hat. It is waterproof, lightweight and packable. The Fatigue/Black that I order is as shown in the picture. I do agree with another reviewer that they should bring back the adjustable headband.

I have a decent sized head( definitely not on the smaller end) so using the sizing guide helped to choose the medium size. It was accurate sizing. If it's too big, an elastic is available at the back of the head to tighten.
