The outside is suede and leather and the inside has an incredibly warm and soft fleece lining. The rubber sole gives support and traction which is a MUST here in northern New York during the winter months! I did find that this boot runs quite small. I normally wear 8. 5- 9 in a shoe and the 9s are a bit snug. I don ’ t think I ’ d be able to comfortably wear a thick, winter sock with them… so size up!! Overall, a great winter boot!

Never have I ever thought I would need a pair of Sorel winter boots living in the Deep South. However, life just happens, and here I am, in middle of Wisconsin experiencing negative Fahrenheit temperature. I did n't know that was possible, but it was, apparently. I got this pair right before winter storm came in Wisconsin, so I got to experience how great these are against cold/snow/wet ground. Pros:- Really, really warm. I went outside to go grab some food/groceries, and my feet were warm. It was funny experience because I could n't feel my thighs but I could feel my feet/toes.- Is very waterproof. I like walking in the snow. Did n't have much chance to see snow in regular basis, so I had lots of fun with it this winter. When I came back inside, only my feet stayed dry.- Basically does its job. It's waterproof winter boots. It is waterproof and for winter weather. Design/size:- I usually wear size 8 for tennis shoes. I have high and wide instep, so even though I did n't plan on wearing thick socks, I got 8. 5. They fit nicely. Not too tight where I need to put bandaids on my heel but not too big where I trip over my feet either. Very comfy as well. Walked miles wearing these and my feet were n't in pain. But I advise going with your normal foot size, though. Unless you have high/wide instep like me or wear THICK socks.- They are... cute. Very cute. Got lots of compliments from my friends and my mom. Keep in mind that my mom is very direct with her opinions. When she says they are cute, they are cute.

I get tons of compliments all the time. They ’ re super light weight and not clunky like most boots. The best thing is that they ’ re warm enough for me to wear to the dog park when it ’s freezing( below zero here in Mn) but also not so hot that I can actually wear them all day at work inside. The traction has been amazing on snow and ice so far. Seriously, I ’ m obsessed with these boots, I just wish they had them in men ’s for my husband. I typically wear a size 8/8. 5 in most shoes, but I always wear a 9 in sorel. I also love the wide toe box, which allows me to wear thick socks and not feel so tight like my other boots do. [ Just got in the mail today. They are really comfortable. I sized up a half a size and they fit perfect with a bit of room for thinker socks. I haven ’ t wore them outside yet but i feel they will keep my feet warm with how warm my feet got while wearing them for the bit of time I had them on. My only concern is the heal part. As a few other reviews said the heel part rubs a tiny bit and I feel it might either make my heel raw or give me a blister. Other than that I love them and can ’ t wait for the snow to really try them out!

I have these in tan and black, my absolute go- to winter boot. I do not wear socks, I just step in and go, leaving the laces loose. They fit perfectly with skinny jeans, rolled up flannel lined jeans, my athleta jeggings, and there is no more comfortable boot I 've ever owned, and that list includes the Ugg Adirondack III. I do n't go trapsing through my wet backyard or deep snow in these, though I have shoveled my walkway in them( I live an hour north of NYC), but for fall or winter lunch dates, absolutely. Errands, always, and I throw them in the back of my car when I play tennis and slip into them after. I wear these around the house when it's cold like they 're slippers. I have both these boots and the equivalent lace- up model( I couldn ’ t decide, so I bought both), and I slightly prefer these. The sizing is the same and both are comfortable, but these are quicker to take on and off and I can remove them without having to sit down, which is nice since these aren ’ t “ in the house ” shoes. The ankle is a bit higher which puts a slight pressure on your shin( at least when new), but it ’s not uncomfortable and on the plus side means your ankles don ’ t get cold when the wind blows. The tread on both is great and hardly slips on ice when other people are having trouble. Both shoes are warm and overall I would say the lace- ups are better for hiking where you want the most support and don ’ t mind the extra time to put on/off, but these are better for running errands or dog walking, when the convenience of easy on/off is a bigger factor.

I just received these boots and tried them on. Great fit, out of the box. A little “ pinchy ” at the top where the fluffed collar is, but I expect this to get better during break in. My only dissatisfaction is with the zipper on the right boot. It is not seen in properly at the top, causing the zip and the leather to buckle ineard on itself a bit.

A lot of people reviewed the boots are tight by the ankle so I was skeptical when I purchased them. They were right, they are tight on the ankle so I unzipped them about 1/2 inch and they are very comfortable. The zipper stays put being a half inch unzipped even when I walked 3 miles in them.

I have had these boots for 10 years and they still look brand new! They are warm and comfortable, perfect for a snowy outing like tubing. I ’ ve noticed a lot of these reviews are negative, but it seems they are working in these boots. These are definitely more of a cute fashion boot than a work boot. I have walked miles in the deep snow and had many tubing adventures with these boots. Treat them well and they will treat you good also!

This is my second pair. They are really cute! This pair fits as did my others and these have one snap in the back to hold the liner where my previous pair had snaps on either side which were actually a nuisance, so good deal. My only issue is that this pair doesn ’ t have a neoprene “ tongue ” across the top of the liner. The neoprene piece made sliding your foot in easier. Hope they last because they are warm and comfy. They are NOT wide so if you need that these won ’ t work. On sale it ’s a good value.

These boots are super durable. I ’ ve had mine for at least 7 years and they will probably last me another decade at least. These are better suited for outdoor activities; when I wear these to run errands, my feet tend to overheat because the shoes are so well insulated. The one downside is that these are ridiculously heavy – it ’s like wearing ankle weights for workouts. It gets really tiring wearing these if you ’ re walking long distances, especially up and down hills.

I use these boots for work, which typically means walking through streams, wetlands, and all sorts of forests and briars. I wish I had found these earlier! My previous boots were much more bulky in the foot, which is okay for wearing for a short time or distance. These boots are much better for walking a few miles and encountering streams. They had no break- in time( immediately comfortable), and have n't given me blisters like all other boots and many shoes have. My only issue is that the neoprene snagged on a twig and ripped a hole, and I had only worn them a couple times! If this boot came with the tall calf AND thicker neoprene, that would be great!! I need my boots to hold up to thorns etc.

These boots are a bit heavy but they are very sturdy and the sole feels grippy. Good quality. the inside is comfy and cozy. I love the side zipper for easy on and off. I wear 6- 6. 5 in regular shoes and usually have to size up in winter boots because I wear thicker socks. I got a 6. 5 and it fits perfectly with enough wiggle room even with thick socks. I have n't worn them out yet but they feel warm!
