I don ’ t have a particularly wide foot but I like to wiggle my toes a lot and the toe box has plenty of space for that. I used their online foot sizer with my foot as flat as possible and my toes spread out as wide as I could get them and was recommended a 9. 5 wide, they fit perfectly. Very well made. You can tell they are individually crafted in an old school manner and not just spat out in mass numbers and I love that. If I do n't wear them for a while they become narrow and tight but give them some heat or mink oil and they loosen back up and once they get hot from body heat they loosen back like my childhood baseball glove. They were pretty comfortable right away, but I did have to endure some irritation on one heel for the first week or so. There is no longer any irritation, and the footbed had formed to my feet more so, so I really enjoy wearing them. They have pretty good cushioning because of the soles. The boots are a little challenging to get on because the tongue is gusseted so high, but that is certainly not a deal breaker.

I have had them resoled at a local cobbler that has sadly since closed. I love these Sierra Mid Lace Waterproof Boots so much I purchased a second pair. They are so comfortable and great for walking/hiking long distances in any kind of weather. This season they are the only boots I 've consistently worn every day for play and work. The added bonus is they are nice looking and extremely durable. I have a lot of miles on my first pair and they still look great apres skiing in the height of winter and even dressed up. Best boots I 've ever worn.

The North Face Women's Sierra Mid boots were well made and stylish. I read other reviews that suggested going up a size. I usually wear a 9 or 9. 5 in winter boots, so I purchased sizes 9. 5 and 10. The 9. 5 was too small and the 10 was slightly too big. I was extremely disappointed because I loved the look and they were at a reasonable price point. Unfortunately had to return.

Very impressed with the comfort that these boots provide. Honestly, these may be the most comfortable ones that I 've owned. I work 12hr shifts at a warehouse and these are great for that environment. Only con would be that they are slightly heavy and I 'm not sure how they would perform outdoors, but I would definitely buy them again.
