Where I live( Washington DC) we do n't get crazy amounts of snow, but we will have the occasional winter storm and get 6- 10 inches or so. I needed a boot to keep my feet warm and dry when I walk my dog, run errands, etc. But I did n't need super heavy duty boot to shovel snow in. I chose this because I liked that the shaft was n't too high, so I could still wear it with most of my pants. We just had a winter storm. The snow was deep enough that it covered my entire boot and yet they kept my feet SUPER warm and I did n't feel slippery when walking on ice. The waterproof material kept my feet dry, and they are also SUPER CUTE! I am a true 7. 5( according to the size chart; my feet are 24 cm), but I still ordered a size 8 based on reviews saying it ran small, and I think I made the right decision. I think if I ordered my exact size I would n't have room to wear thick socks.

I have flat arches and over pronating hind feet so I was thrilled my orthotics fit in place of the company made insoles. There is arch support in the Tivoli Resort that is comparable to that in Tivoli. The higher platform and deep tread is ideal for the snowy slushy winter terrain. The insulation works perfectly even in below 10 degree weather with windy conditions. The higher top and faux help keep the ankle to calf part of lower leg protected and warm. I ’ m even comfortable in them for an 8- hour shift in retail involving going up and down ladders. Highly recommend for women with C width feet( wider than typical but not quite wide.). [ Although it was a major hassle buying these boots because my orders for the white color kept getting cancelled, I was finally able to buy the gray color instead and I love the boots. They keep my feet and shins nice and cozy in the freezing Colorado temperatures this winter, and the waterproof feature keeps my socks perfectly dry despite the absurd amount of snow this year. I 'm not as in love with the lace up feature( I was replacing a worn out pair of zip- up Columbia boots), but the shoes are so great that it's not a deal breaker.

Since it's been snowing more this year, I decided to upgrade my snow boots and I am so glad that I went with these ones! I sized up a half size, which worked perfectly with my warmer, thicker socks. The boots also are n't too tight on my calves, which have been an issue with other snow boots in the past. Very excited to have these for a while!

I bought these to replace my old Sorels and could n't be happier! I typically wear size 8. 5 but bought size 9 in these boots and they fit great. They 're a lot slimmer and lighter than my previous Sorels( also size 9). They 're warm enough for Minnesota winter, but also adorable with the red laces!
