Dman
Everyone knows these are hard to find. This is about an 85% copy of that other brand that everyone wants. It ’s slightly bigger at 19mm. The legs have decent or “ good enough ” action. With this one being cheaper than that other brand by a good amount it ’s a nice pickup. Still made of TPE so very durable.

These baits are a good value. The QC is slightly lower on them than Japanese baits but they are pretty close. Slightly different action than the Japanese baits as well.

Best weedless swimbait I have fished. It will catch Largemoutth, Smallmouth, Northern Pike, and Warmouth Perch. I use 25lb fluorocarbon leader with a swivel and tied to braid. I fish in heavy weed cover without snags.

GrouperGrabber
I have used this product many times and I 'm always surprised how well it works! It really turns the bite on and keeps them chewing. Grouper and Snapper love it. I wo n't go out without it. So much easier and better than frozen chum...
5
Fishininthekeysloveit
Ive used this product more than five different trips and can say it works really good. 4 of the five trips we slammed the snapper, and grouper and even a couple cobia. One trip was not as good because it was really rough and the chum jerking up and down did not last long. I love that i can keep it on my boat as a secret weapon whne coming back from offshore trolling because it helps me keep my guests happy catching reef fish even when we dont do well trolling. I even used some on a floating weed patch in 700 feet of water off of islamorada and had mahi eating it. Its good stuff. i wish it cost less but it catches the fish!

On a very hard week of fishing after lots of rain, my wife and I were getting bite after bite from redfish on these when nobody else using live bait or plugs was getting anything. They 're especially good if you have a jar of Gulp Alive on hand to dunk them in for long term storage after you open the bag. The material is very wiggly but does n't feel artificial at all.

Gulp is always my go to soft bait and with the deal they had on it I could not pass it up.

I caught 20 fish( 19 bass, 1 panfish) last night, and a lot of them were caught on this baby. The bite is causes is unreal. It's so simple to use, aswell. I just reeled in a little then let it float and the jig head gave it a nice swimming motion. These base crushed it and it was a lot of fun. Excellent lure and I beg you to buy this!

I recently caught the largest bass I 've ever caught on this lure. The tail has minimal action but with the right motion you can easily mimic distress prey. It's easy to see the lure flash in the water, even from shore.

Catching crazy with the pumpkin color. I fish it at a slow retrieve with occasional pauses and also buzz it on top. Must have salt in at because they have some weight to them and cast far.
Bottom fishing bait comes in various types designed for different fishing environments, including freshwater and saltwater. Common options include soft baits that mimic the movement of natural prey, such as worms and shrimp, which are effective in attracting a range of bottom-dwelling fish. Additionally, some baits are specifically crafted to withstand saltwater conditions, ensuring durability and effectiveness. Anglers can choose from a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors to match the specific species they are targeting and the environment they are fishing in.
Choosing the right bottom fishing bait involves understanding the preferences of the fish species you are targeting. Different species are attracted to various types of bait based on their natural diet, so it's important to consider factors like size, color, and texture. For example, some fish may prefer soft baits that mimic the movement of their prey, while others might be drawn to more durable options. Researching the feeding habits of your target species and experimenting with different baits can help you find the most effective choice for your fishing conditions.
Bottom fishing baits are typically made from materials such as soft plastics, natural baits, and rubber. Soft plastics are popular for their versatility and ability to mimic the texture and movement of live prey, enhancing their attractiveness to fish. Natural baits, like shrimp or worms, provide an authentic scent and flavor that can entice fish more effectively. Rubber baits often offer durability and can withstand the rigors of bottom fishing, making them a reliable choice for various fishing conditions.
Yes, there are seasonal considerations when selecting bottom fishing bait. Different fish species may have varying feeding habits and preferences depending on the time of year. For instance, warmer months often see fish more active and feeding on a wider range of baits, while colder months may require more specific types of bait that mimic the natural diet of fish during that season. Additionally, local water temperatures and conditions can influence bait selection, making it important to adapt your choices based on seasonal changes.
When selecting effective bottom fishing bait, consider the size, shape, and texture that mimic the natural prey of the fish you are targeting. Look for baits that have vibrant colors or realistic patterns to attract fish in various water conditions. Additionally, baits with scent or flavor enhancements can increase their appeal, making them more enticing to fish. Finally, ensure the bait is durable enough to withstand bites and remain effective throughout your fishing session.
The size of bottom fishing bait can significantly influence its effectiveness in attracting fish. Larger baits may be more visible and appealing to bigger species, while smaller baits can entice more cautious or smaller fish. Additionally, the size can affect how the bait moves in the water, which can either attract or deter fish based on their feeding habits. Ultimately, selecting the right size depends on the target species and the specific fishing conditions.
Natural bottom fishing baits are typically made from live or freshly caught organisms, such as shrimp or worms, which can attract fish due to their scent and movement in the water. In contrast, artificial bottom fishing baits are crafted from synthetic materials and designed to mimic the appearance and action of natural prey. While natural baits may be more appealing to certain fish species, artificial baits offer durability and versatility, allowing anglers to experiment with different colors and styles. Ultimately, the choice between natural and artificial baits depends on personal preference and the specific fishing conditions.
To determine the best color of bottom fishing bait for different water conditions, consider the clarity and color of the water. In clear water, natural colors that mimic local prey tend to be more effective, while in murky or stained water, brighter or more vibrant colors can help attract fish. Additionally, factors like the time of day and weather conditions can influence color choice; for example, darker colors may work better in low light. Experimenting with different colors can also help you find what works best in your specific fishing environment.
Common techniques for using bottom fishing bait effectively include using a weight to keep the bait near the ocean floor, which helps attract fish that feed close to the bottom. Anglers often employ a slow, steady retrieve or a gentle jigging motion to mimic the natural movement of prey. Additionally, varying the depth and location can help find where fish are actively feeding. It's also beneficial to pay attention to the tide and current, as these factors can influence fish behavior and bait presentation.
