Super soft fabric and great fitting sweatshirt! Got this for my teenage son and he loves it. I have never gotten this brand before but I would buy it again. He is 14 and we got a men ’s small. The logo looks nice as well!

5 JMmom32
This is very well, thick and cozy hooded sweatshirt. I think it would be great for fall and winter outdoor activities like hiking, camping, going to football games, etc. Color is a pretty dusky, medium blue, appropriately named Mountain lake. I ’ m a smaller woman so the small is a little big on me but still comfy and wearable. Great sweatshirt for outdoors men or women.

5 Ml3567
Super comfy sweatshirt that is nicely oversized. I am usually a women ’s M but I ordered a men ’s large and love how it fits! It ’s a thicker material and feels very well made. The material is also very soft and comfortable.

When I received my hoodie i was expecting it to be just like any other one. To my surprise I was happily wrong. This Alpine hoodie was super soft, comfortable and streatchy. I ordered a XL. Thinking it would never fit me. But it did. I did n't feel confined. Being stretchy it also fit my youngest, that is smaller than me, and still looked nice.

I recently picked up the Patagonia Men ’s Capilene® Cool Daily Hoody, and it has quickly become one of my go- to pieces for everything from trail runs to lazy weekend mornings. ✅ Fit& Comfort The regular fit is spot- on — not too tight, not too loose. It layers easily over a base layer or under a shell. The fabric is incredibly lightweight, breathable, and stretchy, making it super comfortable whether you 're moving fast or just relaxing. The hood offers great coverage, and I love that it fits well over a hat without feeling bulky.

I 've had this for two winters now and it's a great insulating layer. I prefer fleece when active for the breathability. This one is thick enough as an outer when there's no wind. Excellent design, with two chest pockets and a kangaroo/hand warmer pocket. Since it's a pullover, field repair is much simpler than a jacket, since it's usually the zipper. But with this pullover being so well built, probably wo n't be needed until you 've had it a while or put it to very hard use.

So, everyone loves a good hoodie, and this might be the perfect shoulder season hoodie. It's been a beautiful spring so far here in the PNW; cold in the mornings, but still kind of chilly in the afternoon. This hoodie is perfect for this weather. It's nice and warm in the morning, but does n't seem to over heat when the sun hits it. A perfect hoodie for around the fire or those early morning inconvenient coffee bike meetups. The only low point of the hoodie is that it's sizing is a little on the smaller side. Fit's a little more like an XL than a XXL Other than that, it might be my new favorite hoodie.

5 A
This is hands down the softest hoodie I have ever owned. I do n't ever want to take it off. Its light which is great cause you do n't get to warm in it compared to traditional hoodies due to the the high quality materials used. I wish they had more colors cause I need one for everyday of the week

5 noah44
I like this hoodie a lot and the material feels great. Size up for correct fit unless you like it more tight fitting. I usually wear an XL and like them to be a little longer. This XXL is perfect( fits like an XL). OR please restock sizes! I would buy another grey one and black would be a nice option too.

5 Chris T.
I love this fleece- the material is great, with the polyester inner fleece and bonded outer wool layer. This is my go to layer for snowboarding in the winter and always travels with me when backpacking in the warmer months.

5 Dave R.
As the owner of 5 or 6 Fjallraven raven tops of various types, this one is the one I use the most. It's very comfortable a great mid layer for those harsher weather days, or as a top layer in the not so bad days. It looks great& this is after owning one for 3 years now. The reason I 'm here again is to purchase another in a different colour. As usual the quality is top notch. As the saying goes you only get what you pay for.

5 Matthew N.
Arguably my favorite Fjallraven piece out there, this hoodie is perfect for just about any situation. Performs very well as a top or mid layer. You can wear it comfortably on mild/cooler days, or it acts as a perfect mid layer for skiing or any other alpine related activities for that matter. The waxed canvas patches on the shoulders, and overall composition of the hoodie, give it a good amount of water repellency. I sized up one size, since the fabric has a decent amount of stretch to it and sits a little closer to your skin than a traditional hoodie.

5 Santiago A.
This is a lovely shell. I used it primarily for snowboarding and it worked like a charm. Wore it over a toasty mid layer in frigid temps and it protected beautifully against the wind blast and held up well in the terrain. Very highly recommended.

I really enjoy the fit on this style. I am 5' 8 '' and wear a Women's large. It has longer arms and longer length, which is so nice as a lot of other brands do n't cover my torso well. The fleece lining adds a lot of warmth layered under a shell or worn alone. The durable G100 added to the shoulders makes it water resistant, and keeps the jacket protected from friction from wearing a backpack. I will re- purchase this in another color because I like to wear it so much. Kelly A.

5 Megan O.
The Keb fleece is a piece that works as well on the adventure as it does everyday at home. I wear this as an outer jacket on clear spring and fall days, and as a warming later under a shell for cold rainy days or milder winter outdoor action. The inner fleece has stayed soft through multiple washes, and it is smooth outer helps with fitting as a mid- layer. This is perfect for someone who could use a real performance fleece in their everyday.

5 Sarah O.
I 've had this piece for years now and it's my go- to layer on many occasions. It's fairly long, so I like that it covers the waistband of any pant. The sleeves are also long, so that helps if my hands get cold; I can grab the ends and keep my fingers covered. It's also thin as well as warm. It's the perfect layer under a hard shell for 45- 50 degrees, and also works alone on days that are warmer. Just overall one of my favorite pieces in my closet.

5 Iris P.
The jacket is multifunctional- I can layer it under my jacket when I walk on cool days in the city. It is light and it keeps me warm after swimming. It is comfortable that I wear the jacket on cool nights at home.

I 've always loved the quality of fjalraven clothing. It's expensive but it stays looking good for longer than most. Not that looking good is the main thing I go for it's an added bonus. Very hard wearing& durable, this hoodie is exactly the same but it's detailing sets it apart from the rest. Its a really warm& cosy hoodie that's very comfortable to wear. I bought my 1st ovik hoodie 3 years ago& I 've wore it a lot living on the N/E coast of England we get the very brisk North Sea breeze or gale. This hoodie is perfect for walks along some of our fantastic beaches that not many know about except the locals. Highly recommended.

5 Devin S.
This sweater is cozy and soft! Keeps me pretty warm on its own but would be great under a jacket in cold winter months. I love the leather details that give it such a great unique look. As a bigger guy I had to size up to XL.

5 Stephen H.
Versatile hoodie can be worn with jeans or out on a hike. Not overly warm with breathable technology, which is a must for me. Love the zipped pockets and the leather detailing. G1000 reinforcements add to its robust build. One minor criticism is that the sleeve cuffs are a tiny bit too large/wide. Nothing major though.

5 Amanda V.
I often prefer men's styles due to the straight cut without the flared out hips that most women's shirts/sweaters tend to have. I wear this hoodie as my jacket when temps are on the warmer side and as a mid layer under a jacket when temps are on the colder side. I will say it's very warm though. I can usually get away with wearing it in the low 50s to high 60's as my outer layer. I 'm a 5' 5 '', 110 lb female with a straight/slim build and I wear the XS. The sleeves are a tad long for me but I 'm used to it since I wear mostly men's clothing. I usually just cuff them back a little. I 'm also a big fan of the G1000 reinforcements from the elbow to the wrist. It's a nice look and gives the sweater extra durability. The leather logo/ending to the drawstrings is a nice touch too.

5 John M.
Excellent Hoodie with nice attention to detail in it ’s construction. Looks like it will hold up against time better than other brands.

Used in the cold climates to cover face and assist in breathing in cold air for extended periods. Also holds heat in very well when used under another garment and allows ventilation when needed when used as a mid- layer by itself. Great design and quality construction.

I am 5'10 '' and 160lbs and medium fits well. It is perfect snug level to fit under a lightweight down jacket and shell ski jacket in CO. It is more snug than I would want for an everyday shirt, which is maybe why some did n't like this? The hood and neck keeps me warm without choking me. It is super comfortable. I would recommend it.

I live at elevation, where weather conditions can change fast( and wind is common). I 've worn this jacket in a variety of conditions so far: rain/snow mix at 40 degrees,< sub- freezing temps and sunny, dark and 32 degrees. It's kept me warm without overheating, blocked the wind, and kept me dry during light/moderate precipitation. It's lightweight and packs up small, and is my new fav running item! It feels like it might run just a tad bit small in my opinion, so if you want a thicker layer under it, I might suggest sizing up.

5 E
I winter hike a lot in the white mountains of New Hampshire and I love this layer! It's perfect for ascents over my 300 weight wool shirt. I rarely sweat in it or need more than those 2 layers. If I do sweat it evaporates very quickly. It's very thin and lightweight however I barely need an additional layer in higher elevations. I have worn this in temps ranging from 10- 30 degrees F. It's amazing. I love the windbreaker aspect of it bc it either surprise snows or you brush up against trees while hiking and do n't get wet. You stay so warm with the fleece lining. Still ca n't believe how thin it is.

5 L
I 've had this piece out for a couple of runs now, and I really like it. It's quite warm- I was a bit too warm today in 2°C sunny weather- but it sheds heat well, and I was glad to have the warmth when the sky clouded over. This will be a jacket that I break out at 0C or below, personally, but I run hot. Lots of pockets, which are nice. Very soft and comfortable; flattering fit without being restrictive. Fit true to size for me( 5' 9 '' 160lb.) Only things I would change: it would be great if there was a drawcord at the hem, both to snug it up in colder/windy conditions and to stop the contents of the pockets from bouncing as much; and I find the wrists are n't stretchy enough to pull over a watch without a bit of effort.

5 Ross
Great for all cooler temps. layer up and use in winter. great stretch and quick drying. True to size

5 Audrey
So versatile. I wear this in 50 degree weather over a t- shirt to hike, or in 10 degree weather over a baselayer to xc ski. It layers under a shell well too. Breathable, but cuts the wind when biking or skiing. The hood fits super well, alone or under a helmet. And my favorite part... a chest pocket!! Not enough women's jackets have them.

5 Charlie
[ I recently purchased this hoodie( blue camo version) to take on my ride across the Great Allegheny Passage. Kept me warm in the mornings, all I really needed in 60 and when it got too warm, sweat is wicked away... Also, perhaps most importantly, this item does not carry any smell! I then wore it everyday for two weeks in Mexico City and only had to wash it once. Love the thumb wholes. I am small and ordered the small. Fits snug, and I realize I probably would n't want it baggier. I like that I can layer OVER it. Would recommend purchasing this item.

5 David
Light material but still warm. Also, the face covering is perfect; it's not too tight against your face, but still blocks the wind enough to keep your cheeks warm. I wish they had more colors or patterns.

I 'm so happy with this windbreaker! It's super lightweight but really does cut down on the wind. The fit is very flattering. And more importantly, it has hand pockets! That may not seem like a big deal, but I 've been disappointed with numerous other lightweight windbreakers on the market that do n't have hand pockets. The pockets are zippered too. This will be a versatile jacket to throw in my bag for spring, summer, and fall. I can see myself using it for hiking, biking, and around town.

5 Andrew P
As always OR makes the best gear. The fit is awesome and looks great. Be aware it is a very light jacket, lighter than I was expecting. But a perfect running jacket, or for a thin layer on a hike

5 ItsJ253
This ultra light weight jacket does it all! I use it for early morning summer/fall commutes, runs, field work, and sun protection even in hot weather. Surprisingly warm and wind resistant for the super thin fabric, almost paper weight, yet breathable. The easiest layer to throw in a purse or bag. I had doubts when I received it but it ’s exceeded any expectations. Two thumbs up!

4 beanie5
Was looking for a high- visibility running jacket similar to the Patagonia Houdini Air( wind resistance+ breathability). I have both the regular Houdini( size L) and Houdini Air( M). Keeping this in M. FIT: I 'm 5' 1, 150 lbs, 34DD, round belly. With a Smartwool 250 baselayer or a thin long- sleeved cotton t, fit is close to the body, but not tight( Houdinis run much slimmer); pretty forgiving of my belly:) Perfect length for me, falling around mid- hip; Houdinis are longer, falling below my butt. FEEL/FUNCTION: I 've worn this for multiple runs( incl. light rain, strong wind). This feels somewhere in- between the Houdinis in terms of wind- blocking and breathability. V. light rain beaded on the surface of the jacket, but left a mark when smushed into the fabric. Material is a matte, slightly stretchy, more fabric- y( vs. plastic- y) material- like a slightly thicker/heavier Air. Hood fits over thick pony- tail securely when fully zipped, and stays in strong wind. Doubles as a running and casual jacket better than the Houdinis due to a more forgiving fit around the mid- section( for looser- fitting street clothes), shorter length( more flattering for my short stature), and zippered side pockets. Packs down small enough for an upcoming 2. 5 week trip to Europe( 24L bag). COLOR: Azalea appears neon coral in the pictures, which is what originally attracted me. Unfortunately, it actually is not neon at all, and is more like a salmon pink that leans more pink than orange. It is slightly see- through. LOVE the green( Grove) colorway- something about the color+ matte fabric texture+ matching zippers makes it look SO smooth and rich and clean. Did not intend to get this color, but decided to try( and keep!) it based on the( accurate) pictures.

5 OR Employee Sam - Customer Service
I 've been using this for a couple months now and really like it! I 've found it cuts ~75- 80% of felt wind and even as a softshell shrugs occasional rain pretty well. Mine wet out after about 25 minutes in light/medium rain and when soaked was n't transferring much water to my baselayer. Perfect when you really should 've brought a Helium Rain but you did n't. While not quite breathable enough for me when running unless its real cold( I 'm a warm person) it's great for everything less aerobic than that for me. The cuffs are elastic on the inside of your wrist which works well with a watch. The single hood cinch works well to keep your hood on while minimizing adjustments. Pocket linings double as vents, are big enough for a smartphone or light gloves, and are not sewn down at the top allowing you to stash your map or mail in a pinch. The Hood stow works well when you plan to use it, but I did find myself just tucking the hood inside if I was in a rush and could n't be bothered to roll it up. The hem cinch is located on the right side and is easy to adjust one handed and has low profile hardware which is fine under a backpack belt. I 'm 5'11/ 210#/ 43 '' chest and wear a Men's Large size tshirt and find the size large fits me perfectly with a trim fit. Key for me with fit is that in my other OR jackets like the Foray and Superstrand I 've needed to size up to XL to have the hem fit over my butt. Not so with the Ferrosi- the stretchiness of the fabric and cut works perfectly for me. I normally wear an echo or vigor top underneath mine and layer any insulation over. If I wanted to put insulation under the Ferrosi I would need to size up once. The jacket is lighter, and more flattering than my other windshell from another company. Combined with the comfiness of the stretch I 've found myself grabbing it when just going out running errands and it's almost always at the top of my pack heading out into the woods now.

5 Jose
Jacket is light weight and durable looks great……..

5 Cheese sandwich
It fits nicely, is sleek and comfortable. I can move around easily, and as an outer layer it offers exactly what I need.

5 Alexandre P
Perfect softshell! I have been using it for daily commute, rock climbing and everything in between. It breaths nicely and cuts the wind just enough to protect you from the element. The fabric is nice and stretchy. With a base layer or insulated jacket under it, it is really versatile. Everybody can benefit from that product. Jacket is true to size

5 Arion H
I really enjoy this material and the stretch it gives. Tons of uses: gym, walkabout town, Florida in November, shell over down, New Mexico summer nights or August winds, and early morning range days. I appreciate the extra attention to detail in the areas where someone would have a lot of contact or friction like carrying a pack.

So far I have only used this jacket for spring( alpine) skiing, at which it has been amazing! With temperatures in the low to mid 40s at the top this jacket, along with OR Trailbreaker pants and Gripper gloves, was warm enough, with just enough wind protection for riding the lifts and skiing fast, but breathable enough to prevent me from get sweaty and catching a chill. I wear a hydration pack while skiing, without which it is possible my back would 've been chilly sitting on the lift) And it fits( size S, I am 5' 6 '' 145lbs) perfectly and looks great even just around town. So far one of my favorite items by OR( and I 've got quite a few of them) Looking forward to using this for snowshoeing, cool weather hiking etc.!

This thing rocks. Originally, I purchased this to do winter trail runs in, but have since used it to paddle, ice climb, mountain bike, backpack, and travel. I have found the Deviator to be one of the best if not the best light, active piece for me when it is chilly outside. The front/hood fabric has a good DWR and sheds light wind/rain well, while keeping just the right amount of heat in. I have found that it needs to be under 25F while running to keep myself from sweating, but with the other activities, I find it to be very comfortable in the 30- 45F range( when I am moving), even if it is windy. The zippers are a little fragile, BUT it is meant to be a lightweight piece. I have found that being patient with and keeping the zippers clean and waxed go a long way. I am a Medium/Large and bought a medium, which worked for me well. Overall, I love this piece. While it is not a replacement for a puffy, It retains way more heat than I expected for such a light jacket, especially when moving.

Man, this hoodie slaps. I primarily use it for days when it's cold but I need to get my miles in whether that be running trails/roads, snow shoeing or whatever else I do in the winter. The back is covered in what seems like waffle insulation which breaths super well so when I get hot, the excess heat has a place to go. It wicks sweat and keeps me feeling dry. The front has wind resistant panels that keeps warmth where it should be, and keeps wind out. It definitely fits snug in the arms so layering with a long sleeve base was a bit challenging considering how snug they are, but they are not too tight. I actually feel like the sleeves had a 1- 2 use break in time because now they seem more roomy and it's no longer a struggle to get a long sleeve skin tight layer on underneath. That's my experience, but not really a bad thing considering that putting on another layer over the deviator is that much easier. Please do not buy this piece expecting to hang out in 15 degree weather and to be toasty. This is an active layer that will absolutely keep you warm while you 're on the move. I use it for its intended use, and it produces a 5 star experience.

I absolutely love this hoodie and have ordered more in other colors. I hesitated at first due to the high cost, but this is worth it. The design keeps the wind out but lets your back and arm pit breath while running or wearing a pack. The fit is intentionally slim- fit, as the product can keep you warm that way. Paired with a base layer this keeps me warm in temperatures just below freezing while running or hiking. If it gets cold, I just throw a soft shell over this and it's perfect. I highly recommend this.

It's warms for running, but ideal in freezing temps.
