I ’ m a man and the Women ’s puffer fits fairly unisex in my opinion, the shoulders are broad enough and it fits my torso like a glove. The jacket ’s are super warm but also still very light feeling. I got this for an upcoming trip to Ireland. I am 5' 1 '' and a size 25 waist but I got a size S so I can still wear sweaters underneath. It's so cute and exactly what I was looking for! So far I 've worn it during heavy rain while walking my dog and I stayed completely dry. I like the little flap on the hood so rain does n't get in your face as easily. I like the adjustable waist and hood. I would 've preferred buttons or some other way to secure the front flap as opposed to the velcro but it is n't that big of a deal to me. It feels well made and is warm without making me hot. It does look like a heavier coat because of the insolation but it's pretty light.

There are four heat settings in the battery, So far I have not had to set it higher than the first level- even with pretty significant wind chills. I do n't let the battery go below 50%( instructions say not to let it go below 25%)... do n't know if that is good or bad.

Hard to find a `` long '' puffer coat that does n't hit me below the knees. Being 4'11 '', I like it to be long, but not below the knees and this one is perfect! [ Exactly what I was looking for! I ’ m bigger but short, so I hate how long jackets are on me when I would get bigger sizes. This fixes all of those issues! Since it ’s cropped it rests right at my hips and I have plenty of room to move around in it. It is a little big on my shoulders but I wouldn ’ t size down to a M. It ’s super comfy and warm, and I love the colors.

I could definitely keep the medium since it fits comfortably roomy when zipped up, but I may return this for a small since I 'd like this to be just a smidgen smaller and more cinched. I bought the black version. I love the green on the jacket but I wish it was a different color ONLY because my complexion is pale and the reflection of the green against my skin makes my skin look dull and washed out.
