It's a good spray skirt for beginners that ca n't find a spray skirt to fit the kayak. If your kayak has a small lip around the cockpit it may be hard to find a skirt that will stay on good. This spray skirt comes in several different sizes and has a drawstring where you fan make it tighter. Is the spray skirt comes off too easy just tighten up the drawstring in the back. Its not a bad beginner spray skirt and it comes a day good price. Most of the better why water Spray skirts are around$ 100. If you just want a spray skirt to help keep the water out of your kayak then this one should do the job as long as it's a level 1 or 2 rapid. Water will collect on top of the spray skirt. If this happens all you have to do is pull it up to where the water runs off. This skirt is not meant for level 3 rapids and up.
