I got this hat because the brim is slightly smaller than my full on sun hat, so it ’s not as awkward to wear in the car or indoors, but still provides a good amount of sun protection. I got the goldenrod color, and it ’s a little darker in person, but still a cool color. I bought the Oat Sunset Hat first, to wear while gardening and walking the dog. I live in NE FL and the sun can be brutal at times. Our duaghter and her husband took us on an* day Caribbean cruise right after Thanksgiving and I bought a 2nd Sunset hat, this time in Cinnamon, so she would have a good sun hat too. She preferred the lighter colored hat so I let her keep that one and I kept the cinnamon one. These hats can be shaped how ever you prefer them, but I like the sides rolled up like a `` western hat '' so I have good peripheral vision, especially when walking our pup. They traveled well strapped to a back pack and if they got a bit misshapen during transport they were easy to return to however you might prefer them. Very versatile and can be used in any number of scenarios. Thanks for a great product!
