I wore out my Detroit jacket and purchased this one to replace it. I ordered a large at first and had to send it back as it was too large through the belly. Medium fit my 5' 8 '' 170 lb carcass perfect. Washed and softened it per the instructions inside the coat. Feels great, it's warm and has that great Carhartt feel. Cuffs and waist are just the right length while providing good coverage from the elements.

I love the fit and feel. Very lightweight, which I wanted, as a summer weight jacket. The stretch improves the fit and feel over my other bomber. The only things I would change is; Add the original bomber style shoulder pockets and tool sleeves, maybe even on both sides. A velcro shoulder patches with a cover that matches the jacket fabric to hide the velcro if preferred. Stretch cordura or something cut resistant to protect in the shop against sheet metal edges or on the street for self defence. Hand pocket designed more like the original without the flap. Or maybe different bomber offerings.

It is the best quality jacket I have ever owned or ever will own. It is a wonder to me the excellent workmanship that went into this jacket. It was made in India. American clothing manufacturers should reverse engineer this jacket then try to better it as a model for excellence. This jacket will outlive me and look better as it ages and bruises. Great job.
