I bought these to use with my road bike, which has a cushioned but very narrow seat. If I go for a ride longer than 45 minutes, I usually am sore along my pubic bone. These shorts helped a lot with my 2 hour bike ride this weekend—no discomfort at all! I was also pleased with the fit. I ’ m 5 ’ 6 ”, 160lbs with most of the weight carried in my thighs, so I often have trouble finding shorts that don ’ t squeeze too much and don ’ t ride up. These were long enough that they grabbed my thigh at the narrowest part by the knee, and didn ’ t ride up because of the nonslip band around the leg opening. These have a mid rise, which is not what I normally go for because I ’ m afraid they will fall down, but these stayed put! I got a size M for reference.

More importantly, I love the fact that the thigh area( hems) aren ’ t stitched. My personal opinion is that Nike ’s biker shorts are made for women with slimmer/smaller quads. I have purchased numerous pairs of their biker shorts only to return them because they ’ re just too tight and constricting on my quads. [ My LG Fit Sensor 2 shorts I own are a little bit too small for me, so I bought the sensor 3 shorts 1 size larger than my sensor 2 shorts. One size larger turned out to be a perfect fit for me and the top band does not roll over. I found sensor 3 to be very comfortable and it feels like it might be a little bit lighter/cooler material than the sensor 2 shorts. To my surprise, the leg length is a little bit longer than the sensor 2 leg length, which is good. Also, the legs stay in place as I ride. I only ride 15- 20 miles, so I can not say how they are for long rides, but they are great for my use.

[ I like the quality. The pad is HUGE so that may or may not be to your liking. I love that I can where it under my casual shorts if I 'm doing a casual ride to meet friends for coffee and/or lunch/dinner.

[ I wanted better chamois now that my rides are 50+ miles as I train for my first 70. 3. These fit great, are padded in the right areas if you are riding in aero. I am 5' 7, 140lb athletic build and small is perfect for me as my measurements are also according to the size chart.

For reference I am size 8 pants, 40 '' Hips, 34 '' waist... generally wear a Medium in Calia Inspire, and size up with Power Move since they are more compressive. Great fit and do n't ride up my legs or roll down my stomach.
