I got this hat in store and after wearing it probably 4 days in a row I went online to buy it in black too. I always wear my hair in a ponytail or a messy bun and this hat has a big enough space in the back for either, while also being a little higher than where the hole would typically be on a hat for your ponytail to go through. The material is breathable and could look sporty or cute with just a regular outfit bc there aren ’ t any big logos on the hat. Some of my adidas or Nike hats look too sporty for an every day outfit or casual dress, but not this one. I will probably end up getting more colors, which is always a sign that I really like something. It ’s also very comfortable and doesn ’ t give me a headache like some other stiffer hats. [ I love hats and after losing my Columbia wide- brim hat in Zurich( I blame the chocolate) back in 2023, I was relieved to see a replacement a couple weeks ago. Imagine my surprise to unbox such a stylish chapeau! Though its wider brim made me think of Paris in the spring, it was bought for adventures in South America. Mid- August, I leave for a month- long vacation to Brazil where this hat will protect me from tropical rays as I stroll the famous beaches of Rio de Janeiro followed by 3 weeks in the Pantanal( jaguar safari!) and then an Amazon riverboat cruise. Packable, well- constructed with a must- have adjustable strap, it will literally top several quick- dry, multi- purpose, insect- shielded, Omni- Freeze Zero clothing from Columbia. In the meantime, I 've worn this hat for outdoor concerts and shopping at the Farmer's Market here at home in the Midwest. My head circumference is 21. 5 inches and the S/M is perfect. It's so cute and I would say runs slightly large- I 'm on the larger end on the hat size chart but this felt perfect and I might even make it tighter. My only complaint being left handed is that I wish there was a magnet on both sides. Not a deal breaker by any means and am excited to wear golfing next season!

Great hat! Nice neutral color( Oat) that is not too dark for hot days and goes with any other colors. The hat can be shaped and reshaped to multiple styles, and it is easy to wipe off. The chin strap keeps the hat secure on windy days. I love that its 50 spf, yet the weave of the material still lets the air circulate under the hat so your head does n't get sweaty. Bought this hat for sun protection while some facial scars are healing. I 'm not a hat wearer, but if you have to wear a hat, this is the one! Love that there is wire in the brim so I can shape the hat how I want to and it stays where I want it. Also the material keeps me cool in hot weather, and this is the highest sun protection rating out there. I would recommend this hat!

I LOVE THIS HAT! I have it in all three colors and it is my favorite hat! the brim is large enough in front to cover my face from the sun and long enough in the back to cover my neck! Just right! I wore it while geoducking and everyone loved it! I like all three colors, but I wish the Opal one had a flowered lining like the black and blue ones do! I love this hat!!! It is my favorite Sunday Afternoons and I have many others. The only negative is it runs a little small. One Size. After stetching out the elastic band by pulling on it hard repeatedly, it fits comfortably. My head measures 22 1/4 '' around. Now I love it. Good sunblock and better looking than some of the others. I bought the cream with the black band. I would buy the blue and black too but I hate the multi print on the inside of the brim. If they came in plain black on the underside like the cream, I would buy both other colors. Why the multi print? Looks old- ladyish! Please offer all colors with a plain black under side of brim!!! An addendum to my review the black hat should have either solid black trim or back and white, like black and white stripes on the band with black solid under brim for shade protection. The red multi print is aweful!!!

I wear it in the pool to keep the sun out of my eyes, and it dries quickly and the chlorine hasn ’ t caused any discoloration. I use this hat whenever I have to go outside for more than 5 minutes. The brim is extra wide and extra long in how it wraps around your head. I have a degenerative eye disease and am also quite photophobic so this hat is a godsend. Not only does it shield my face completely from the sun all the way around from ear to ear, the sides of the brim are out of the normal field of vision so it does not distract from my ability to see peripherally. FABULOUS HAT. I 'm buying a second color today.

I hate hats but when I really needed one at an art fair recently I bought a sun tripper hat. It's lightweight, comfortable, and easily folds to fit in a pocket and does n't get crumbled. I 've wound up wearing it a lot and I 'm buying a second one now. I wash mine often and it air drys quickly. After months of wear it still looks as good as it did when I first purchased it.
