Great bait to throw alone or as a trailer on spinner bait or jig ... Amazingly though, the soft plastic on this bait holds up much better than the majority of Yamamoto's soft plastic offerings, as once properly glued, I have able to catch many...

Best chatterbait trailer I have found thus far. Good action, easy to rig, like the tail flange produces a quick narrow tail kick that matches the speed of a Jackhammer Chatterbait blade well. Good option, outside of a chatterbait trailer, not impressed... Chatterbait trailer 10/10

I love this bait like most of Yamamoto's soft plastics as it is real fish catcher! I use it mostly as a trailer on my bladed jigs, buzz baits, and occasionally spinner baits in order to add a strong yet somewhat compact baitfish profile. The tail on this bait works at just about any speed and the available colors all exhibit fish appeal. Amazingly though, the soft plastic on this bait holds up much better than the majority of Yamamoto's soft plastic offerings, as once properly glued, I have able to catch many fish, even the toothy varieties, without having to replace it; making them worth the price.

Attached to spinnerbaits, jigs, even drop shots. This is a great product. Little enough to attach but big enough to run straight up. First time I have used this product and caught a good size bass running this on a 1/2 '' Chartreuse willow blade spinnerbait. Will buy again

Use it a jig trailer or weighted hook and moves great.
Effective bluegill bait typically includes live bait such as worms and crickets, as well as artificial lures designed to mimic the natural prey of bluegill. Soft plastics, jigs, and spinners can also be effective, especially when they imitate the movement and color of small fish or insects. Selecting the right bait often depends on the season and the specific water conditions.
When choosing bluegill bait, consider factors such as water temperature, clarity, and the time of year. Bluegill are often more active in warmer water, so using brightly colored or scented baits can attract them more effectively. Additionally, the size of the bait should match the size of the bluegill in the area you are fishing.
Yes, the color of bluegill bait can significantly impact your success. In clear water, natural colors like green and brown tend to work well, while brighter colors such as chartreuse or pink may be more effective in murky water. Experimenting with different colors can help you determine what works best in your fishing environment.
Seasonal changes can greatly influence bluegill behavior and their feeding patterns, which in turn affects bait selection. During the spring, bluegill are often more aggressive and may respond well to faster-moving baits. In the summer, they may prefer smaller, slower baits, while in the fall, using bait that mimics the natural forage can yield better results.
Artificial bluegill bait offers several advantages, including convenience and durability. They can be reused multiple times without the need for constant replacement, and they often come in a variety of colors and styles to match different fishing conditions. Additionally, some artificial baits are designed to release scents that attract fish, making them effective alternatives to live bait.
