[ These are my favorite shorts! The sizing does run small, so size down one size, but the sizing has been consistent year after year. The leg openings are wide enough to make the shorts comfortable and the length is flattering without showing your cheeks. I ’ m glad that I ’ ve purchased some of the great colors throughout the years that are no longer offered( pink, orange, macaw blue, collegiate navy, green, and nocturnal). Columbia should always offer black, grey, and navy as staple colors while introducing trending colors each year.

These feel and fit great. Washed well too. A little spendy, so I would have to find them on sale to grab another pair. I will be keeping an eye out for darker colors- black, dark green, brown. I think I will get a lot of use out of them... if I manage not to get stains on them. 😬 Dark colors are more functional for fishing and hiking for me. I am between small and medium for bottoms and the small is nice and roomy in a comfortable way. If you like your shorts snug you may prefer to size down.

I was looking for cargo shorts to replace the ones I had. In the past cargo shorts had a lot of pockets and were made of heavy cotton. It has been a while since I purchased shorts. I was looking around and found the HUK shorts. I was a little taken back by how light weight they were. I tried them on and was converted. They still have a lot of pockets; the material is very light and a bit stretchy. They are great for summer, light weight, stretchy, plenty of pockets and my wife says I look good in them. Bottom line, these are great shorts especially hanging around for the summer. I ’ ll not go back to the heavy- weight cotton cargo shorts.

[ In my line of work I consistently bend over. They do n't bend with me, rather against me. Just a little spandex or elastic added would be nice! However, I wonder if that fabric will lend to lint balls at the thigh rub spot. I 'm 5' 7', 120lbs, narrow hips, booty present. 2's were actually too small sized up to a form fitting 4. I 'm hoping, for the price, that they do not `` lint ball up '' anytime soon. I 've only worn a few times so take with a grain of salt.

I 've been wearing for a few weeks. These are turning into my workout shorts. Have done done a few base training runs and they 're comfortable and feel great. I 'm not sure I would wear them on a really long run but did 90min run in them and they were great. Will use them for camping/ hiking/ swim combo this summer for sure. I 'm a 33 '' waste and the L fits great.

I travel quit a bit and wanted a pair of shorts that I could work out in, trail run, swim in, etc. Also wanted something that would dry quickly. These are great for that. I generally wear a shorter inseam specifically or trail running, but this inseam was a more modest and `` everyday comfortable '' approach. Got the shorts with the AirShell Hoody and together they 're a great combo. Would recommend as a all purpose trail short.

[ This is the second time I have purchased these shorts. I finally wore out the first pair which I purchased 2 years ago. I know the shorts are designed for fishing and ocean- related stuff. Yes, I use them for everyday wear as well as for the sport I play which is Lawn Bowls. The side pocket is great for holding everything from my lip balm to my measure for bowls. The only thing I find that is not so good is the stitching along the bottom of front pockets had to be resewn as this just does n't seem to hold. Other than that This is a great pair of shorts.
