Used to use Tiny/Baby Torpedos and thought I had the killer lures for bass on my favorite water. Have n't had the success I wanted lately as the propellers did n't always spin. Last summer I watched a video on Youtube of a guy killing smallies with a `` Whopper Plopper '' so I decided to give one a try. I bought the 90 perch and 90 pac- man. First afternoon out with these lures I caught 10 bass. That was my best day ever on this water. Two were 3 lbs plus; all were respectable sizes.( See picture) Just purchased three more: Bluegill, Frog, and 28 Bluegill. Gon na buy the T1000 and Chub( Yoda) next. I 've been very happy with the action, durability and color options of the Rapala Cleanup Craw. I 've used it as a jig trailer and Texas rigged it on an EWG hook with success. The claws do n't tear off on short strikes which is a huge plus. The forward facing appendages on the side of the craw flutter when retrieved. The two tone color of the plastic and glitter look great in the water. Most importantly, this lure gets bit.
